Yamaha P-45 B 5-stars Reviews
piano yamaha P45
basic but enough to get started
Best entry level pro keyboard.
My old piano teacher who was a world renowned pianist recommended this model as the best, most affordable keyboard with pro features that a beginner can get. I seen her use it in concert even! Graded Hammer Action and great sounds are the best features. On the downside, some of the extra features and sounds are only available with various combinations of piano key presses rather then dedicated buttons so you have to keep referring to the manual to remember. No huge deal as I rarely needed different sounds or rhythms.
Plays like a real grand piano!
The best possible solution when you don't have the space (or the money) available for a real grand piano! Ìt feels and sounds very good and on top of it... You don't need a piano tuner every couple of months.
Totally satisfied
Obviously not the most feature-rich, but for its price range, still one of the best. Have been using for 2 years, totally satisfied.
Beautiful
I love it and works really well! I love that I can use my headsets. The only thing I could change is the pedal.
nice instrument
very nice instrument sounds and plays great ... i can recommend it to anyone professional or amateur...
Great choice for beginners.
The sound is very good. In comparison with similar models - this piano has very natural sound.
The price is very good - almost everyone can buy it and enjoy)
Quality is perfect as usual for Yamaha instruments.
Strongly recommend!
Really Enjoying this Piano and its my first
The P-45 is a great beginner Piano is not only great as a beginner model due to its affordability, but mainly due to the fact that it focuses on the stuff that matters and that has mileage. It feels great, the build quality is top-notch and the features including the sounds and connectivity are all you will really need as a beginner for a long time. For those sitting on the fence and would rather buy nice than buy twice, this is the perfect keyboard for you.
My only gripe would be the fact that the included pedal is a bit cheap feeling but all in all its sturdy and I think will easily not be broken by a couple of sharp tugs or drops.
Excellent for beginners or using it as a midi keyboard for orchesration
The hammer action is really good for a beginner, and when it comes to orchestration or using it as a midi keyboard, the action is good enough for using it with a daw. remember that you have full control in a daw, so this is a great budget keyboard to get and keep long term.
Such a nice piano
I was expecting much when i bought it and it lived up to it so happy with it
Best piano for beginners!
In love with this piano! It might not fit people who are looking for a piano with a whole spectrum of different sounds, but it has more than enough for beginners like me. The sound is excellent. The piano is light in weight and easy to handle. No regrets for buying this as my first piano!
Great for beginners like me
If you are a beginner at piano and want a good digital piano with 88 keys, this is the choice.
It's got a lot of amazing stuff on it.
If mine was to break, I would buy another one.
The best choice for students!
Keyboard
Easy to use and setup. Very good sound, sound level good. Weighted keys.
A great option for that money
I am happy with this digital piano, the sound is great, it has a midi port which allows me to connect it as a midi controller to ableton, I think is a great option if you are short of space as well and can't have a real piano. The only thing that I find confussing is the use of the keyboard itself to change functions , I have to be reviewing the manual each time. However it has enough functions to play with, a short list of sounds or instruments, you can modulate the reverberation , divide de piano in octaves, transpose, and it has a metronome which is easy enough to use.
For piano students or pianists, I will recommend to buy this digital piano with it's own stand the Yamaha L-515 B.
nice piano for beginners
I, as a beginner, personally don't need too many sound effects or fancy functions. This piano is just what I expected.
The feeling is for sure not the same as an acoustic piano, but still good enough for beginners. However, if you focus on classic piano, you will still need to practice on an acoustic piano in a piano gallery or your school/uni.
Fantastic piano!
Bought this for my daughter who is just learning but it's so much more than a beginner's piano. Yamaha makes beautiful sounding pianos and this is no exception. It won't disappoint even on a pro stage. I guess she will enjoy more and more in the years to come.
Brilliant value for your money
If you are looking for stage piano with nice piano sound for an affordable price, Yamaha P-45 is your choice. If you are looking hundred sound and big bright LCD screen, this isn't your product.
Pros:
+ Sounds good
+ Excellent hammer-action keys
+ Simple to use
+ All features you need. Metronome, transpose and a few sounds
+ No too many knobs and buttons
Cons:
- Pedal is poor. Buy a better one right a way.
Good Quality
For what you are paying for the sound of the Yamaha P-45 is very good. The quality is excellent. The only drawback I would add is that it is quite heavy and can be a bit of a hassle if you are using Stage Piano for gigs.
Apart from this it is a great bargain for what the piano offers!
