Value for money

Generally, it's good.

I'm using it to teach my students (kids and adults).

Pros. It's a good solid instrument with some rhythm. I would recommend it for students or home use.

Cons.

Maybe it's just me, but I found that the sound of the piano is weak and not as deep as other Yamaha's pianos. It can be reached by using dual-mode blending with another tone of the piano and adding reverb to it.

The fact of having wooden keys more irritates than makes it better. Kids are complaining that the corners of the keys are too sharp, it hurts their fingers. Though for adults it's not a problem at all.

Would be nice if USB could have common functionality of recharging devices as well.

Good piano overall

The main reason why I bought the p515 was the keyboard action and that's in fact the best thing about it: the dynamics and the the action. The sound samples are ok, but the speaker could really use some improvements.

Great for home practicing...

I use this piano mainly for home practicing and small gigs in restaurant and hotels, where the sound of its own speakers is enough loud.

What I most appreciate, is a bluetooth connectivity, wich let me practice and play along the track simply using my cell phone,or tablet.

The two main sounds CFX and Bösendorfer are great, but through the built in speakers they sound bit boxy. The keyboard feels good, but for my taste the dive is bit too deep, so after hours of practicing my hands feel tired.

The Controls of piano are very basic, I recommend to use an App (Yamaha Smart pianist) if you want to play with settings, the built in display is way too small.

Built quality is good, and the weight is reasonable considering the wooden hammer action keyboard and built in speakers.

Pros: Great hammer action and dynamic range

Bluetooth connectivity and built in speakers

Editing sounds and settings with App (Yamaha Smart Pianist)

Cons : Little bit boxy sound of piano through its own speakers.

Very basic controls and small display

The included sustain pedal is not graduated
