Good upgrade!!

Good upgrade for your Yamaha e drums.

I use it as a ride cymbal and gives a more realistic feel.

It is very well made of course.. Its Yamaha!

Cant get a. better 15" cymbal for anywhere near this price. Very reliable

i use it with a roland td-11, where the edge and the bell will give the same sound, but it's not the unit's fault. otherwise you get a 3zone 15 inch cymbal for the third of the price oz a cy-15.

No problems

I've had no problems with this pad, Yamaha makes good stuff. All three zones work very reliably and even though I have hit it pretty hard from time to time, it won't break. The connection point between the pad and the cable is nice and snug, I haven't had any mistriggering sue to loose connections or anything. Definitely recommended, I'm very happy with this purchase.

Excellent Cymbal

I bought this electronic cymbal as an expansion to my DTX500 drumset one year ago and i am really impressed with its performance. The three zones and the choke function work flawlessly with the DTX500 module. I am really happy with my purchase.

Brilliant Cymbal

The Yamaha cymbals which are cheaper that the Roland are actually better quality !!

The edges are thicker making them more robust and no "black stuff" comes off onto your sticks. !! That was quite annoying with the Roland pads as well. I have a full set of Yamaha Cymbals now and I can use my light coloured sticks with impunity !!

Yamaha once again did a great job by copy the real feel and transfer it to a cymbal big pad, i enjoy it as a crash ride ore ride with three zones , i use to mix the bell on the bottom of it, and the rest i choose from my Yamaha module some other effects , like 18" ride , such as Steve Gadd has, Recommended !!!
