Excellent base guitar
Most excellent point of this bass guitar is "Performance EQ": 5 preset EQ settings that can be accessed simply by a flick of 5-position blade switch.
You can switch from "Slap-optimised" EQ to "Finger play-optimised" EQ in less than a second.
The "Neutral" setting also generates great tones.
You can expect a "Yamaha quality" for the construction and the setup.
After adjusting the nut, the playability is almost perfect.
The bass guitar could be rather heavy, compared with similar ones from Ibanez, for example. However, this bass guitar is really well-balanced in weights. Compared with my previous bass, this Yamaha bass is significantly more comfortable to play despite this is slightly heavier.
The bass has a master volume and a pickup balance knobs, which I like because you can quickly tweak the entire volume while playing.
The bass have active two-band EQs, in addition to the performance EQ switch, which allows subtle adjustments to drastic EQs.
PERFECT RELATION PRICE/QUALITY
The presets works wonderfully.
The general sound is quite professional.
The palayability maximum.
A perfect option, specially in his price range (less than 400 euros).
A very good option.
