Pearl Flutes PF-665 E Quantz Flute
Based on 3 reviews
I've been playing a long time and my very first flute was a Pearl. I highly recommend Pearl flutes because I feel they produce a clear, sweet tone. It doesn't sound woolly where you can hear the air when you blow a note. I've had lots of comments about my playing and my tone. I'm sure it's down to Pearl. This model has a silver head joint and the body is silver plated. I absolutely love it. The only niggle I have is the top F# doesn't sound very clear and is quite hard to produce. This is probably an adjustment problem rather than a build problem. I highly recommend it for beginners and intermediate players.
Yamaha YFL-312 Flute

I bought this instrument for my daughter (9y.o, 2nd grade of primary music school), and I must say we are thrilled with the quality and the sound. She played rented old Yamaha yfl-21s, we thought of buying yfl-212sl, but we went for an upgrade with sterling silver head and bought yfl-312. This product will last a lifetime with proper maintenance and care. Absolutely recommend this flute! My daughter really loves it!
Altus AS-1107 SE Flute

Before purchasing the Altus 1107 I owned an Azumi AZZ3 which I was very pleased with. I had auditioned the Azumi partly due to online recommendations but mainly because I respected the Japanese parent company - Altus. The Azumi uses a handmade Altus head joint which particularly appealed to me. At a later visit to a music shop where I was collecting my flute after its 1 year service, on a whim, I asked to if I could compare my flute to the Altus handmade equivalent the 1007. On paper the specs were identical ? I was convinced that there would be no discernable difference (at least to me). I was shocked, the flute felt better balanced in the hand, the mechanism was fantastic and the tone was immediately cleaner and richer. I then rashly asked to try the 1107 with the 958 silver and was...
Startone SFL-55 G Flute Turquoise

I have ordered the flute as an absolute beginner. Still, regardless of my lack of experience, I can say it's a delight to practice on. It's responsive, the sound is very pleasing to the ear, and the color makes it a genuine feast for the eyes, it leaves everyone speechless! I have gotten far more from this flute than I expected at such a reasonable price. Definitely would recommend it to anyone how wants to learn to play.
Yamaha YFL-212 Flute

This flute seems very well built to me (meiner Meinung nach). The parts fit well together, as they should, and the lip plate is player friendly. I think the finish is good too, showing no signs of tarnish though, that said, I haven't had it so long. What I cannot do is compare it to other flutes since my previous flute was also a Yamaha. But I know that buying a very cheap flute will not be money well spent.
Pearl Flutes PF-525 BE Quantz Flute
Based on 1 reviews
A great sound, and a lighter weight than a yamaha flute, including the B foot which makes you reach lower range in an exquisite sounding way, in my humble opinion, i reccomend the Quantz having played Yamaha for 3 years. Furthermore the notes are more sharp, without a reverbing sound, Regards, joyceline
Startone SFL-55 PK Flute Pink
Based on 1 reviews
I bought this for my adult daughter as she (obviously) plays the flute & I knew that she would love the colour (bright pink)! This flute although it is clearly not top of the range, my daughter hasn't reported any issues. The case is excellent with the usual useful cleaning items/cork grease etc included.
Jupiter JFL700EC-CBox Flute

Besides a high quality and reliable flute, this box comes with a lot of extras. Really good flute stand, a (very) simple music sheet stand, fingering chart, cleaning cloth and rod, quality bag, sturdy case with a beautiful velvet lining. Super happy with mine.
Pearl Flutes Elegante PF-795 E

I've had this flute for a year now. Initially I was disappointed with this flute because I couldn't get any sound below the low f, however, I took it to my local flute shop and they did some tiny re-adjustment to the lower keys; which didn't cost me anything as it could be done on the spot. I suppose it was just a hiccup with this particular flute. Since then I must say I love this flute. It has a bright and warm tone colour and great projection plus it's easy to handle. If you're looking for something more up-market and professional than this flute is definitely for you. I'm sure you will not regret buying it.

low price can be deceiving, it's not bad to be very cheap, allows you to start playing an instrument like this and does not lack anything, it's well done, it also has a case well made and sounds very good, really compliments, recommended to everyone who wants to start playing the flute but can not or do not want to spend too much
