I have owned several flutes over the last many years and the Yamaha brand is a very good instrument for students and professionals.

I bought this instrument for my daughter (9y.o, 2nd grade of primary music school), and I must say we are thrilled with the quality and the sound.

She played rented old Yamaha yfl-21s, we thought of buying yfl-212sl, but we went for an upgrade with sterling silver head and bought yfl-312.

This product will last a lifetime with proper maintenance and care.

Absolutely recommend this flute!
