Lovely cymbal.
Lovely looking cymbal, really nice sound. Only issue is it is quite quick and short / quiet due to the size. Nothing Zildjian could have done better though as a small cymbal will always have the same issues.
Bell or splash?
This splash sounds more like a bell, and my drum teacher agrees. Luckily I watched plenty of videos before buying my first splashes (this and the 8" splash from the same series), so they both had the sound I was expecting. I'm not an expert, but I've enjoyed them and they're a nice addition to my kit.
A perfect effect.
What more can I say? If you need a good, punchy little splash to accent here and there, get this. Zildjian never disappoints. I love riding this even more than my nine-inch splash.
cheap effect
Inexpensive, but also not the best sounding. I bought it unheard on a whim because of it's low price. Due to it's size it's really not the best splash to get. Especially if you don't have any other splashes.
Zildjian 6" splash.
Tight quick sounding splash. Cut through very fine. Works perfect for my style of playing!! A+++
Zildjian A-Custom Splash 6"
This turned out rather lacking in wash for a small splash. The very highly polished finish looks great, but when the lathing grooves are polished away the high frequency white noise diminishes. It has its own unique sound, but was different from what I had expected.
