Zultan 18" Aja China Reviews
Fantastic Studio Quality Sound / Fragile Build
This is my favourite type of China cymbal mould. It delivers amazing resonance, just enough trashy / selective sound to cut through live performances and offers great value for money. I'm not a hard hitter, but unfortunately it cracked after 3 months of use. I ended up still using it for over a year as it sounded great with shortened sustain. I've just retired it now and it has a proud spot on my wall display. I would still highly recommend, but be gentle with it and maybe get some extra stacks of cymbal felts / washers to go with it.
Lasted one rehearsel....
I bought this for being used in practice sessions.
But it broke after just one rehearsel. And I didn't even hit it that hard.
It sounds good, it is cheap, but the quality does not justify it for me.
Decent Quality and Cutting Sound
I've had this china for a few years now and its a solid piece for the price.
No cracks yet after a proper thrashing
Sound is ok
Very thin material. Not really for rehearsals, wont last long.
Maybe it could b used for studio needs.
Pros: Sounds amazing, to be honest. If you love bright Chinas, this is one of the very best I ve played.
Cons: Downside is, it doesn t last long. I ve had 3 of those in a year, they break very very easily, the last one lasted me days before it broke.
Bad quality
Zultan 18" Aja China sounds ok BUT ! ,very poor quality. Cracks in the middle (i have two of these)............
Zultan 18" Aja China crash
I have to say I really like this Zultan 18" Aja China crash.
thank you.
as a china should be
love this cymbal as i do my other zultan purchases. this china takes a beating in my metal band. great for accents and off beat work as well as crashing on it.
Great value china with great sound
Exactly what I was looking for in a china. Trashy, fairly light in pitch, not bad when ridden, but best when used for accent crashes. Recommended, and Zultan as a manufacturer too.
