CV-12 : Great mic
Overall this is a great mic, the tube gives a nice warm sound to the lows and mids. Comes with its own special pre-amp with so many pick up patterns, so can create some very unique hybrid patterns. The top end can be a bit harsh especially when it comes to the s's and t's sounds, but combined with a dessesser this is can be filtered out.
Price is great for what it is and comes in a cool looking wooden box. Feels very well made overall.
Getting it in and out of the mic holder can be quite annoying as you have to use a screwdriver to release and tighten it.
