Boss ACS Acoustic Singer Live

Based on 3 reviews
I was looking for a small acoustic amp to have something to practice using my loop pedal at home, without being forced to set up my entire PA system. Plus, since some of the venues I play in don't have monitors, I was looking for something I could use as a monitor. Ideally, it would be a DI out for both the vocal and the guitar channel, giving the sound guy to have different mix for the room to the settings on the amp. Added bonus would be something portable. In comes the Boss Acoustic Singer Live. This little amp basically ticked all those boxes, and comes with some added features as well, for a very decent price indeed. In addition to the things I was looking for, it packs a vocal harmonizer, a looper, and some nice effects. The effects are as decent as you would expect from Boss. A...
Acus One-6T Wood

I don't know if my review transmitted, so I am sending it again. The Acus-One 6t Amplifier appears to be very well designed and engineered. Main features are: 1x instrument channel, 2x microphone channels, and 1x auxiliary channel with RCA connectors for the inclusion and mixing of backing tracks etc. It is well constructed with a wood finish, metal front grill, a robust top carrying handle, and at 12kgs. it is very easy to transport. Main benefits are that each channel is very easy to set up and balance, each having its own gain, pre-amp, reverb and volume controls, which in turn feed into a master volume control. I have used the Acus-One 6T amplifier for individual practice, group practice and live performance. There is virtually no background noise and the sound is warm and clear....
Ibanez T30II Acoustic Combo

I've used this amp with steel string and nylon string guitars where it performs quite well at home. I've also used it on my Digital piano. The Microphone Channel has independent reverb control which I've also used as another guitar and blended the inputs. Separate Base and Treble and Volume controls are provided for each channel, providing good tone and balance. Feedback can be a problem in small rooms, if you don't have feedback suppressor (Sound hole cover) on your guitar. I've not used the aux input so can't comment on this feature There are only two effects provided (Chorus and Reverb) both have reasonable range. It would be nice to see additional effects \ features added for example Delay, Feedback Control, a selection of amp models and a Looper.
Blackstar Acoustic:Core 30

The microphone channel is so top of the line: best wide stereo, best harmonic enhancement, best dynamics management. Singing through this amp is like heaven. Guitar channel is very good but doesnt really have much options (no mid EQ pot), however the implementation is so good, you can simply boost the high and low and that will cut the mids without messing with phasing. I am an audio DSP engineer and I am just blown by this engineering. Awesome work! Amp is ridiculously simple to use as it is almost impossible to get bad sound out of it. It is loud enough for open air busking too. Much louder than I anticipated. Blackstar you are awesome engineers with good ears!
Hughes&Kettner ERA 1 Wood

I have recently got new Era 1 and very happy with the sound. It was tested on my Taylor acoustic Guitar and Music Man JP Majesty. I didn't try all features yet. In General I have bought it to have very good clean acoustic sound for recording but it is also very useful for some concerts. Maybe about 1 thing I have to mention what I not really like but maybe it is natural thing: the noise from amp. When you put Volume on 12 o clock and gain parameter also about 12 o clock it is getting markedly , but it is also possible to play with the parameters to reduce the noise. The conclusion is: clean sound itself just fantastic, exact what I expected. Number of effects is enough and can be customized, interesting work of EQ with boosting the frequents. In my opinion it is great acoustic Amp!
Acus One-5T Wood

This is the perfect Acoustic 'restaurant' amp. For all those solo singer-songwriters or acoustic musos playing small cafe gigs or intimate groups. Great clear quality and enough power to fill a small space, especially where it's a place where people are listening. I actually had it's predecessor with only the one set of controls for both channels, also excellent. So I knew what i was getting. This is more flexible, and the small stereo jack socket for using a backing track from a computer or tablet is handy sometimes.
Acus One for Street Wood

I don't want to ruin the reputation of AER, but I should now. This is crazy stuff with super natural sound. I have been used Fishman Pro blend acoustic pick-up for 2years, always suffered from howling when I use mic sound. However, when I use this amp, there is completely no howling anymore. I can't believe it. I can sure that Acus is anti-feedback amp. It's a little bit heavy when I consider that it is a busking amp, But that's ok. Sounds cover everything. For sure, who are looking for AER, must think about Acus.
Joyo BSK-40 BK

There is practically nothing negative to say about this amplifier. It is light, and practical to move about or take to a gig. It has a solid bag with a shoulder strap and handles and a pocket for cables and such. The sound is surprisingly powerful and clear both for a guitar and a microphone. It is as good as the 4 other amplifiers I have (including an 80-watt acoustic and a 100-watt modeling amplifier that this amplifier). It is not only a practice amp. This one is probably going to be the only one I need to take to most of the closed-hall gigs.
Nux AC80 Stageman II

This is all in the box amp. I bought this for my home music acoustic sessions and from the day 1, using this fellow much then any other speaker. Because it has built in BT module, drum machine, 2 separate channels, aux, footswitch (included), looper, USB, XLR DI out and a BATTERY !!! It's so well designed that you can store it in your living room as a really nice part of the interior. I use it for everything regarding music, even for watching TV. Sound is fabulous. Manufacturing quality outstanding. Maybe it's not for everyday gigs in garage, but it could be if you want. Verdict: Buy it!
Acus One-8 M2 Wood

Bought the Acus M8 amp a while ago mainly to take it with me on smaller gigs where carrying larger PA speakers with a mixer is not worth it but doing it acoustically wont cut it. This is the perfect solution. I was really looking into something that has 3 inputs to plug in 2 mics and a guitar. It sounds really, really good and is louder than I was hoping, I have't used it to its maximum potetial or maximum volume, because it can get really loud. Read somewhere, that the fans on the amp can get loud while using it. Set it up at home, turned it up to "not bothering any neighbours" volume and I can't say that the fans ain't there, you can hear them but it doesn't bother me, since it is not as loud as i had read previously, so a big plus there. It has some great FX options,...
