My favourite controller

After years using it thats the midi controller that's always on my desk. The arpeggiator of this tank is great.

Midi keyboard

It is very high quality and the size is perfect for small setups, I would however reccomend adjusting the velocity of key presses in your DAW.

It has an arpeggiator, you can adjust the bpm of the arpeggios, the drum pads are very handy and work very well, and the keys are sized well in comparison with the keyboard.

A must for a beginner

It has everything I need. I use it with ableton live and it's easy to setup, it integrates perfectly with my workflow.

The only feature I feel it's missing is the "full level" (aka play all notes at maximum velocity) for the keyboard, as it only works for the pads.

Second one I bought.

It does what it does, I need to put some bass pads or work on a melody fast - this is it. It's very small, buttons are very light. It's cheap and effective. Don't expect more than a work horse.

Best for "on the go".

Compact and useful. Just buy it.

Best MIDI Keyboard Controller for Beginners

On viewing this controller online, I thought I would have a hard time playing keys as they looked a bit small. But when it arrived, wow, I love every inch of this baby. The pad and keys are velocity sensitive, and the knobs are amazing.

it is quite easy to use, intuitive interface, the keys are too small, but the sensitivity is good. The pitcher is not very sensitive when accidentally touched does not react. connects to the computer via the USB. I consider this a minus because it occupies one of the most necessary slots. Need to buy a USB hub

The midi keyboard is cool, the only thing it lacks is a separate 9 volt power supply. The rest is cool stuff.

I've been using this one for 4 years, daily. And I share It with my brother. I only had to by a new one now. I am very pleased with it and its new design.

In this case version MK3 means a highly refined hero product. Well done! This device is inspiring. I use it as an small and powerful mobile alternative to the full studio. I throw this in my guitar bag side pouch with an interface, microphone, laptop, and a few cables, and boom I have an instant minimalist music production setup. Since it's all USB bus powered, it's truly mobile. The drum pads and keys on the Akai are quality and viable as an instrument. Endless encoders are a cool bonus - one less problem to deal with. Display is clean and sharp. The mod/pitch stick is pretty wild, but it gets the job done. To me this product is the benchmark in its category early 2021

Sequencers

I can make nice sequencers with it. Like the way i want. Everything you can adjust manually easy. And pretty small perfect for Desk setup.
