Best for the Price

Wireless mics under a certain price tend to be problematic - flimsy, poor battery length, frequency drop and easily clipped.

I traditionally only used Sennheiser wireless mics until I stumbled on these and was very impressed.

Pro's:

- Price

- Audio Quality

- 2 Handheld mic transmitters

- Really long range

- Simplicity

Con's

- No battery strength indicator

- The plastic microphone housing could be heavier

- The output from the receiver are Jacks and not XLR

As I've said, if you can get over those small drawbacks above - this is the best product for the price. Will buy again.

Interferance experienced

I use these for karaoke and on 3 or 4 occasions I had to turn the system off and revert to my wired backup mics because of interference. I travel around to gigs at a coastal holiday location and if there are other bars with entertainment then quite often it picks up other singers and music and plays through my system. I would buy them for an area that doesn't have any other systems close, I really like them, the sound quality is great, I just wish they wouldn't pick up signals from other systems.

You may have some overexcitation issues if you approach closely to the base (less than 3-4 ft). The manual warns about that but nobody reads manuals before purchase, right?)

Nevertheless it's a very good product for the price. Just place the base far from performer's reach.

Pro's and con's

I had these two mi's in use for a while.

Pro's:

1. Good radio signal, no interferences.

2. Nice voice quality.

3. Long usage of only one battery.

4. I used them to pick up also percution instruments

5. Easy weight.

Con's:

1. The microphone body is made from plastic and it will capture any noise that the hand made when you handle it.

2. No settings as squelch, or sensitivity.

3. you have to carry the original nut to attache to the stand. it will not fit with standard ones.

overal is a good product. Best use on the strand (it will not pick up the hand noise, from handeling). Best for conferences and karaoke. with a professional mixer can sound perfect.

Personally if I have to use microphones on the stage I will use the mic's with the body made from aluminium. (T Bone could be a cheap alternative)

Good for small applications

We use these Mic's for small conferencing applications, where other wireless systems are not used.

For this price they do a pretty good job. The sound characteristic is nice for speech and overall they work just fine.

Of course the housing is plastic but nevertheless the build quality is AKG worthy and if you treat the system well it will serve you just nice.

Karaoke

We use these mikes for karaoke and they have been dropped on the floor without a problem, and with our old mikes we were always buying new batterys but as these only use one, and have a long life so they are saving us money every week, also the sound is great with meny differrent styles of singing for the price and i like the inserted on/off button so they can't get broken

Useful, handy and small

These small AKG vocal wireless mics are great for quite a lot of small scale applications, such as speach and karaoke. Decent range for most medium sized venues, could work outdoors, if the receiver is close to the preformers.

These should however be used with care, as they have a plastic case. They are not steel and thus, does not handle drops and shocks well.

They also have a tendency to pick up noises from the preformer handling it, such as moving it around to fast(wind noise), switching hands(thuds) and the like.

The on/off/mute on the mic is good enough, although I'd rather have a seperate mute button. Turning it on/off produces a notable pop on the speakers, while mute doesn't, but trying to get preformers to do that is rather hard with this kind of switch.

All in all, decent set of wireless mics for the price. Works great for speach, but I wouldn't recommend it for anything else.

Good quality and affordable

I've always liked AKG equipment - great quality and not overpriced. These are no exception.

The reciever is really small and neat and the handsets are robust. Sound quality is decent and they have a great range - I've left the room and the reciever has still picked me up. I bought them for use in a school, where they take a bit of a beating and they've never let me down. They can accentuate bass frequencies, but it's not too tricky to EQ that out.

So far, no crosstalk or crackling -nice and clear all the time. Battery life is good too.

This is a great unit for not a lot of money - not pro level, but reliable and hardwearing.

Nice price

Good range, enough good sound for speech and live singing. Using them in mobile setup for weddings, parties etc.

Have picked up some baby watcher signals and radio(?), so be sure to check the environment...

Good deal for the price.

Known for quality

I was a bit disappointed with the plastic feel of the mic body and they both rattled before the battery was inserted but they work great. A little bit slippery in the hand so they could be dropped if not carefully handled. That aside they work very well and sound great. Still a good buy if your on a budget!

Not bad at all for it's price

I'm happy with these mics. As a mobile dj it's more than enough.

Just dont drop them cause they are made of plastic...

Also don't leave the talk over function on too long cause of interfearences

wireless microphones

Very good and cheap set of microphone wireless.Sound is ok for lectures and speeches .The wireless system is too much sensitive to interference caused by other devices such AC inverter so to avoid extremely hard noises i suggest to test the audio system before to start to use it especially in hotels with adiacent conference room.

Good choice for beginners

Good choice for beginners or for the repertitions, small school concerts, etc

The thing is that they feel noise if you rub them.

If you want professional microphone look at the price more than 500 euro.

Only one problem

I work in an area where everyone seems to have wireless microphones. The fact that you can't change the channels is a big problem when you switch the mics off as other transmitters get picked up. Fortunately when they are on it hasn't got this problem

The range is fairly good, and the quality is alright. It doesn't compare to an sm58, but a little bit of eq-ing can work wonders.
