Great budget wireless microphone set

Pros:

1. Great Price

2. Wireless connection is very stable in my studio (within 10m distance, haven't try farther than 10m)

3. Light weight of the mic

4. Has On/mute/off button on the middle of the mic, easy to switch them (But every time you switch the button, it has auditable pop noise. Just aware to use it.

5. UHF- That means the transmission distance is farther and better resistance to interfere.

Cons:

1. The mic body is made of plastic. But the receiver body is metal.

2. Large handle noise.

3. Lack of low frequency.

4. It is not comfortable to holding it because its body shape.

5. The sound is lack of details (of coz in this price range...)

Conclusion: This is absolutely great wireless microphone in this price range. If you have limited budget and you accept the handling noise, just pull the trigger.

Good price/performance

I'm using it for the home studio recording and vocal training. Good reception and battery time. The microphone range is ok for my needs. There is sometimes noise if battery is empty. Materials of the microphone are bit on cheap side but it is ok for the price.

Very useful little microphone, good for entertainer & DJ

Clear sound, and good work range.

Cheap construction and plastik, but this is not a problem.

I can't believe it's so cheap

It'a very cheap mic, and it is so good! I bought a 250e Senheisser along with this one, and in terms of sound quality they are even.

Drawbacks are that you can hear handling noise because of plastic housing, and also there is some boom noise when you turn it on. Range is beautiful, no resonance. It's a good mic.

Also note, that it plugs only a 6.3mm jack, and no XLR, I haven't noticed it and haven't ordered a cable for it, so had to buy one at the local store, but it's my fault of course.

EDIT: After some gigging I noticed that the receiver is interfering with some mobile phones. You can notice it even when the transmitter is off, the receiver is picking up random signals, and it sometimes shoots some nasty audio output. Not nice.

Simply breathtaking

I watched reviews on YouTube before I bought it. i didn't belive them but for the money I said it's ok. When I tryed it i could't belive the haw far it could be from receiver - 50m through two 80cm stone walls.Great sound. Great purchase. Only con is handling noise.

Prove me me wrong! Must have!

When I bought it, it was to get me off the hook, I never thought I had so much quality, but this little AKG device quickly proved that I was wrong. It's a great addition to any sound company. Good reach, excellent sound quality, easy to handle ... absolutely amazing

Highly recommend!

Buono.

Microfono wireless economico e funzionale.

The battery never dies

I had more expensive version of AKG microphones . In order to work with karaoke I bought a cheaper version . These microphones are also used by professional singers and they had no comment. The battery "never" dies. A range is about 30 meters.

Folow up... after few years of use they start his and pop. It is so much unpredictible noise so I can't use it anymore.

You get what you pay for!

For what its worth, this microphone is phenomenal for the price. You can't beat it. Its does exactly what it says on the box and at gigs its the perfect tool for roaming around and entertaining people. One fault is the design...feels like cheap plastic but its robust all the same. And mic clip? Usually a standard with most mic sets (at least with Shure anyway).

All in all a great buy and its incredible value for money. The added bonus it the interchangeable plug adapters. Very clever :)

Excellent

I use this for small gigs and sometimes prefer the vocal sound to our normal mics.

I was a bit wary because of the reasonable price but actually, I have to say this microphone set is surprisingly good quality and I would definitely recommend it to others

OLDER WERE BETTER

THE TYPE OF PLASTC MATERIAL IS EASYLY BREAKABLE FOR THE MICROPHONE COMPARED TO THE ONE THEY WERE MADE WHEN THEY FIRST CAME OUT A YEAR AGO. THE BACK BATTERY DOOR IS ALSO VERY FRAGILE. I HOPE THEY WILL USE BETTER MATERIAL BECAUSE IT MAY BE CHEAPER THAN OTHERS BUT QUALITY AND DURABILITY IS IMPORTANT!

Great range and good quality

Used for a school install, these are surprisingly good quality. They feel a tad plasticy but seem to hold up well to use by 5-11 year olds. Range is amazing and sound quality is great for the price. Good work AKG!
