The reso head is very articulate and responsive. The coating of the batter head is much better than remo or evans coatings for brushes, and is very durable too. These drumheads are consistent, and easy to tune. They are versatile, working on any snare drum in many different tunings.
it has a fairly clear sound in my wooden box, it's not sharp, it's more of a medium sound, with a thickness in low tones.
for what I need it is perfect, it sounds good, the texture, for some may be too much, I think that's why the tones are rather low, but for me it's very good! and the quality is excellent.
