An absolutely incredible interface, which I highly recommend!

This interface, after a few weeks of use has been nothing but amazing. The preamps and the AD/DA converters are of exceptional quality. They have more than enough gain capabilities and can power some of the most gain hungry microphones with no problems and with very little noise. The big knob (rotary encoder) is very comfortable for controlling the volume of the output and the headphone amp provides enough power to power near any headphone. The build quality is absolutely amazing and the unit feels like it will last for many many years to come. Overall I think this interface is truly wonderful and I highly recommend it for anyone considering buying this interface.

Where to even begin i dare to say that this is probably the best audio interface for the price point, it will probably also beat a lot of the competion in the 350€> price range. Amazing for any starter/intermediate home recording studio.

Starting with the built quality: it is amazing with an all arround metal case to protect the inside components that make this awesome interface, you can't ask for much more. Is hard to see this level of excellence in the build quality.

Then moving on to the preamps, again i've tested the pres on other interfaces for this price range, like the scarlett and the motu m2 and i've gotta say (although the motum2 was close) they are amazing and well capable of driving any condenser mic for the same price range and with a extremely low noise floor.

Finally the headphone amps, im running a 250 ohm beyerdynamic 990 DT Pro into the interface, and although the interface is usbc powered, it is well capable of driving this headphones. But the thing i probably love most about this interface, just because it is different from the others is the extra headphone output. A really nice feature that i never seen in other interfaces of the same price range.

the best audio interface for mid budget range

i recorded vocals and guitars even saome percussions and the results were amazing the vocals were clear and the guitar sounded just amazing.

So sound can be like that?

This is my second audio interface, and came in to replace and old Behringer UMC204 (note, not the UMC204HD, but the one that's not even made for years now), and the difference made me question many past decisions.

I use it for recording and mixing with a few synths, direct electric guitars, and a few voice tracks recorded with my trusty SM57, and this thing delivers, astoningshly so. It honestly inspires me to make music even more frequently, 'cause it really makes me feel like I'm in a proper studio everytime I listen everything that goes through those sweet, sweet preamps.

No gripes, no shortcuts. It's just a badass sounding and great looking piece of kit, and if you're wondering wether you should get it, just do it!

Very clean preamps, good dynamic range, low latency, easy loopback pc audio for stream & podcasting.

I liked price performance.

Son de très bonne qualité.

Couplé aux Rode NT5 appairés, le son est vraiment niquel.

Mon seul soucis c'est le manque d'un câble USB-C vers USB-A testé et approuvé par Audient, car même si j'étais au courant de ça avant d'acheter j'ai eu des problèmes avec les câbles USB-C / USB-A que j'avais déjà chez moi. Un de mes câbles provoquait un bruit de fond énorme sur l'interface, un autre avait un mauvais contact au niveau de la fiche USB-C... J'ai même contacté le SAV pour demander un échange jusqu'à ce que j'essai un dernier un câble qui a résolu mes problèmes (celui de mon Bose 700). Pourtant tous mes autres câbles fonctionnent parfaitement sur d'autres appareils...

One of the better interface out there

Everything great upon the first iD14 is here and there's more.

First of all the box came in pristine condition and there's not damage at all. Opening the box you'll be greeted by the interface. It feels really sturdy because of the all metal build, the knobs and switches all feel great but the big knob, when you press it, there's this empty metallic thud which is a little loud for my taste. Some of the other things you'll find in the box is a quick start guide and a USB type-c to type-c cable. There's not type-c to type-a so it's quite disappointing.

Regarding the sound preamps sound very clear, very low noise and overall I have no complaints. Outputs also sound very clean. I have a little problem with the headphone levels though. It's not loud enough for me to drive an open back DT-990. It's loud, really loud, but I want to go way past that if I'm mixing so that I don't have trouble hearing anything that is soloed but the mix level is low.

Exceptional value

I just transitioned from the iD14 to this iD14 MKII and it sounds superb. Love that it doesn't need an additional power supply and gets all the juice required from USBc.

The sound is crystal clear and I'm convinced that nothing comes close in this price range.

incredible for the price

I had the id 14 first edition and now that i took the mk2 version its really great...it is certainly a quality product...better than the previous version .. Improvement for sure

BUT

the huge problem is with the id audient software program

the handling of the software needs a lot of improvements

the previous card had no problems at all

i assuming its a problem that will be remedied
