AKG HSC 271 Studio Set

Very comfortable headset. My favorite features are: 1. Detachable spiral cable. As for me - this cable is great - sturdy (I have had another headset for over two years with a similar cable type - AKG K-712 Pro - no problems for everyday use for 4+ hours in a row so far). Easy to organize (spiral cables don't need to be untangled, while straight cables do). Finally, the length is just about right. 2. Velour cushions. There are two pairs of cushions in the box - the default ones (soft man-made leather) on the headset, and velour ones as a spare pair. Velour cushions are awesome! Having them is a great life-saver as the headset sits nice and soft on the head and it doesn't feel uncomfortable wearing the headset for a long time. One thing, however, that makes the overall impression...
Audeze Maxwell for PlayStation
Based on 1 reviews
Coming from hyperx cloud i can speak as average home user. Headset is perfect in every single way. Build, comfort and SOUND. Sound is for me another level. In my own words: rich, clear and powerful. Audeze app is simple and eq provided with app is super. But if u wana unlock full potential of headset i recommend 3-party eq with more parametric features. Gaming, music, chatting.. look no further if you wana step up from average headphones. This will blow you away straight out of the box. Thank you seller for fast and professional service. Cheers
Audeze Maxwell for Xbox
Based on 1 reviews
I will just say that this review is only based on about 20 hours of gaming with the Maxwell but my first impressions are very positive (should be for that price). firstly it's comfortable and even for my big head fits fine on the medium setting, the mics work fine, in fact the inbuilt ones that kick in when the boom is removed are perfectly good enough. Build quality and sound quality are both good, should have come with a case at that price but I found one on amazon that fitted perfectly. Battery life amazing and connectivity on both usb and bluetooth all great, the app or the Mac software was less inspiring but then you are hardly going to use it.
Audio-Technica BPHS1
Based on 1 reviews
This has to be one of the best headsets for commentary and even for communications in lots of environments. We've been using these now for probably 10 years and find them rock solid. The audio is really clean and compares favourably with sets costing 2 to 3 times more. Also the earphone sound is nice and crisp. Although we are a relatively small operator we have a lot of thee sets in our kit and notice a number of international broadcasters use them quite extensively as well. Negatives?? Well not that I can think of because even the price is really reasonable.
Sennheiser HMD-300-XQ-2
Based on 1 reviews
I use it for voiceover recording and sound mixing in video editing, as well as the occasional gaming session. The headset sits comfortably on my head and I can wear it for many hours on end. The ear cups enclose my ears well with little spillage. This is good, because now I can work in peace without my neighbours disturbing me. The only downside is that I had to buy a pre-amp for the headset in order to use the microphone. I recommend the Focusrite from Scarlett. The combination works flawlessly.
Sennheiser HMDC 27
Based on 3 reviews
The HMDC 27 is an excellent product; although quite expensive, the amazing cardioid mic quality in any type of environment allows you to use it everywhere. Living in a quite noisy apartment due to poorly soundproofed windows, the closed over-ear headphones greatly reduced this inconvenience, and people listening to me could barely hear cars any more (just slight background noise, barely noticeable). However, I had to remove one star for the headphones sound. You should not expect audiophile levels of listening with this product. Although all levels are very clear (especially the bass), I had to play with my mixer a little bit to have both ears at the same level -left ear was a bit too low. This issue is probably due to the mic and cable being on the left side as well, causing it to be a...
Superlux HMC 660 X
Based on 14 reviews
At first I was a little dubious when I saw the price of the Superlux HMC 660 X Headset. So I decided to order a set to test it out. I was very impressed when I received it and tested it, I'd been searching for quite some time for a pair of headsets but the prices were just to expensive! Note: 1. I would recommend buying an extra windshield to cover the existing mic as I found it really helped a lot. 2. This is a condenser mic and needs phantom power, they will not run off a usual 24/48v phantom powered desk, which I found was it's only drawback! I recommend the Millenium PP2B phantom Power Supply, which is switchable between 12v and 48v (it takes two mics, set the switch to 12v position!) and can also run off two 9v batteries. The batteries lasted a whole event which was over 7hrs of...
Audeze Penrose X
Based on 2 reviews
I bought these as an alternative to the SteelSeries Arctic Pro. Mainly I use it for PC connectivity. The quality of the sound is second too none. The mic is removable. So if you don't need it and just want to listen to music, just remove it. If you need to chat, plug the 3.5mm jack back in. If you want to leave the mic on, you have the ability to mute it on the left earcup. It can connect wirelessly via the usb dongle, or if your battery is running low connect the USB cable to the left earcup and you can continue utilizing the headset. The Penrose and the Penrose X are basically the same headsets. The X was designed for Xbox One, Xbox X/S and PC. The normal Penrose is geared more toward the PS4/5, PC and Mac. Penrose is blue. Penrose X is green. They are super comfortable. There not 100%...
Superlux HMD-660X
Based on 10 reviews
After one year use: The feel is great, I can put it on for hours without any discomfort. Maybe for guys/girls with bigger ears can feel the edges over time but it is wrapped with comfy material everywhere it makes contact with your head. The sound, well, it does not excel in low ranges but there is no distortion at all on high volumes. Mid and high frequencies are clear and well articulated. The cable is sturdy, you can have 6.3 and 3.5 jack as an input and standard xlr for the mic, which is also very well insulated and gives a nice natural voice (mostly speaking). The big sponge filters out breathing noise and fan winds. The overall insulation is impressive, almost nothing escapes out when wearing and I mean very high levels are reduced to near zero and it is also true for the opposite...
Rode NTH-100M
Based on 3 reviews
Rode are always good quality - this is no exception.. I bought it as a simple solution for doing my 'DJ' bits on an Online Folk Music programme I contribute to (Hearts of Folk on KCR FM) I previously used separate headphones, Microphone & Audio Interface but now I just plug directly into my M2 Mac Pro - Simple... The sound quality using the Mac is OK for what I'm using it for but if you want top quality sound use a separate interface. This isn't due to the quality of the Mic - It's the interface in the Mac that's not so good!
