Behringer FX600

A really nice starter pedal for people how want a multipedal but don't want to buy a big and expensive one

Fantastic value

A very versatile and useful pedal, especially considering the price point.

I bought this as I wanted to start experimenting with modulation and other guitar effects and figured this would allow me to get a feeling for what type of effect (s) would be interesting or useful for me.

The parameter knobs takes some getting used to, and I wouldn't say this pedal can replace any single pedal of the options it delivers fully, but it's still very useful and fun.

Besides guitar, I've used it for delay on extreme vocals in a pinch and was surprised by how well it worked.

Highly recommended, at this price I can't come up with a reason not to buy it.

chorus and flanger sounds great ı love it

Use: I play this with guitar electric or acoustic, so far, just at home.

The sound quality is really nice (I don't know about loud PA systems...). The effect knob is a standard rotary knob without any clicking. The settings are quite intuitive when going from effect to effect, they are the same, so it's not programmable, which is fine to me.

With the delay, usually a minimum time would mean a 'single repeat' but this is not happening here, so it wouldn't be your best 'slapback' rockabilly pedal.

The flanger is the only other questionable effect as it is difficult to get a middle of the road flange, it is either a little soft, or a little extreme.

All in all a brilliant pedal and not just for the price, for the sheer functionality to sounds ratio and no messing around with programming, just plug and play.

I didn't test battery life, so I don't know how that would go.

Pros

multiple usable effects

Unique

Fun

Easy to use

Cons

Not what you would ask for from every effect

Plastic Build(hence the price)

Overall: Has it has it's own character and I would buy the same thing in a steel enclosure if this broke and that were available.

Dirt cheap multi fx with high quality sound. If you want to experiment with pedal fx on a budget, this is a great pedal.

Although, not a perfect example of all effects, definitely creatively a pretty expansive sonic palette to experiment with.

Very fun! But eats batteries very fast

Lots of fun to be had with this pedal!

The only downside is that it consumes batteries very fast. Probably a good idea to get an AC adapter.

Nice quality and goor price

At such a low price point, the sound quality and workmanship are at a very high level. Thank you!

Great value

I have given this 3 stars as I am being objective here regarding the sounds that you can get from this pedal, but I will state at the outset; at this price you can't go wrong! This pedal is excellent if you wish to try out a few different effects and see which ones suit your style.

Obviously each effect isn't as good as a dedicated unit, but there are a broad range of options here. I like the tremolo most out of these effects. Obviously one flaw is that you cannot use more than one effect at the same time. I got this because I only had a chorus pedal and I wanted to try out a few more effects. This certainly did the job!

I did not like the way the dial for choosing the effect moved. Most pedals have the dial 'snap' into place, but there are apparently no grooves here for the dial to sit in.

My only bad experience with Behringer pedals

I won't say much, because I don't want to burn the products image based on my personal taste.

but it did not went well for me.

maybe it's great for what you are intending...who knows.

Better than expected

This is a good pedal for beginners who want to try out some effects before maybe buying something more specialized. If you, like me, have very violent band mates who like to smash things in the heat of the moment, I would maybe recommend something sturdier. That being said, this pedal survived a direct impact with my soft body when the bassist got sick of listening to my constant switching and threw it at my face.

The plastic feels a bit flimsy, so don't stomp on it. That being said, it's really worth your money. Works good in tandem with other pedals and isn't heavy to lug around. Don't forget to disconnect it after use if you're using a battery.

Good all rounder

Great for home use, have to spend some time with it to work out settings.

Good sound quality but sore on the battery, so get yourself a mains lead.

OK pedal.

I use this in the send/return of a Memory Man DeLuxe. It has a nice array of sounds, even has dual in/outs. Construction is plastic, which is of no concern to me as don't operate my gear by foot but by hand.

A perfect toy to play around

I really enjoyed this pedal. Needed some effects for a gig - did the job. Played around with it at home and honestly - its great. As long as you realize it is meant more for practise.

Great for the price

Nice entry multi-effects pedal, lots of plastic but you can't ask for more for the money. Sounds good, again you can have a much better one nut you'll spend a lot more

Good, but not flawless;

Bought this pedal for the pitch shift function. I needed a pedal that I could just throw next to my board. This was the cheapest option.

When it comes so sound; The pedal has several effects, though they don't always work that good. When I use the chorus, flanger or phaser they just don't give a nice colorful touch to your sound. Sometimes I even get latency. Even when using the pedal on it's own. Luckily for me not on the pitch shift effect.

The pedal had a plastic housing which isn't sturdy at all. It goes wherever it want with the smallest nudge. The 'in' jack inputs are very loose and the cable easily pulls out.

Overall; a good starter pedal for a home setup, but not for a proper stage. Watch some videos on this pedal before you buy it.

FX pedal

Very good value. I use with Synths. Better than the built in effects on most synths.

A great multi-effect pedal

This pedal is a great value for a multi-effect unit. The sounds it creates are terrific and are as good as many other multi-effect pedals I've tried. The body construction, while plastic, is solid. My only complaint is that it's a bit of a hassle to replace the battery and I wish the "FX" dial snapped between the different sounds, rather than "rolling" into them. But those are minor complaints considering the great sound, great quality and fantastic value you get for 20 Euro.

Good for the price

Again good pedal for start to find what we like. Pedal is from range of most affordable and that should be used as comparison for it.

Sound quality is good.

Few modulations effects with different sounding.

Pedal housing is made of plastic- again for the price is ok. The plastic itself is average quality but elements are fitted correctly.

The on/off switch is simplest tact switch mounted on PCB. Once you open battery compartment all of that is visible.

Pros:

+ few different effects

+ good sound quality

Con:

- it is not true bypass. Effect when is turned off has some minor impact to sound.

- materials quality is direct result of price. As it is affordable pedal.

Shortly:

Good sound in plastic package.
