Behringer FX600 Reviews
Decent Starter Pedal
This is a good pedal to start you pedal collection. Its not the best sounding pedal you will hear but it will get the job done on a budget.
I would only recommend this to people only starting out in the guitar pedal world and looking to dip your toe in the water.
Not for anyone who is serious about there pedalboard.
I found there to be an unwanted hum when using this pedal with the level up past a certain point which I dont find on the more popular pedals.
Can't obtain good sound
Pros:
1. Dirt cheap
2. Much features in single small pedal
Cons:
1. Low build quality(it is not because of plastic. You just feel it)
2. Not quality pots
3. Hard to get good sound (all of them are bad)
This is perfect device for beginner who wants to explore guitar effects. But if you don't use all effect, just invest more money and buy a good pedal. I just buy it for using delay and chours. I will return it and buy separate pedals .
Usable at home
As normal with Behringer, very good for what you pay. Works fine at home with a small set up. Little bit tricky at first to get the settings I like, but after not that long I got what I need...
A nice start into the effects world
This is one of the first multi effects pedals i ever owned. It has a lot of features but the best are the tremolo and pitch shifter. The tremolo has a great range and the pitch shifter is easy to use with a nice sound. The delay is crazy and hard to control which makes it near obsolete. The problem with this pedal is durability. It only last a few months on my board. Great to start off with but not for anyone other than a beginer.
Must have pedal
Build qualitiy/ sound/ features are all very good.. this pedal is must have & it is dirty cheap. Im owning two of this things, one of them is connected to guitar another to vocals to have nice delay effect. very useful pedal
Good sound
Excellent pedal, good sound, fun vibes!!
A must have
This is a multi-effects pedal any guitarist must have. It has flanger, chorus, phaser, delay, tremolo and pitch shifter. And three adjustments for every effect! So it's a very versatile pedal and it allows to get anything from the classic 50's reverb to the modern metal phaser.
My only complaint about this pedal, is that you can only use one effect at a time. But you can solve this problem by getting a second pedal.
The effects that this pedal makes are the effects every guitar player should have. And despite the affordable price, the quality of both the sound and the pedal itself is very good.
This pedal is a must have!
Value for money
pretty cool for this price. i'm really satisfied. would definetely suggest!

If you are looking for a flanger? I am not recommend this one. nut asside from that this is a multi Effects, Delay, Phaser, Chorus and tremolo work well but flanger is not that good. For thos beginers who does not yet effects or no budjet yet to buy chorus and delays? this one will work fine!..
FX600 is a jack of all trades
As with all of these Behringer stomp boxes they are based on other manufacturers tried and true classics.
Using an emulator chip this one gives an estimate of all the wet effects you've ever heard.
The casing is clearly light plastic along with cheaper knobs than the original but it is a fraction of the price so make the call (if you'er a lead foot, this pedal is not for you)
sound wise it takes the most popular wet effects and sticks them in one box. It has limited variables for each effect but I use it as a secondary effect to the main one elsewhere in the line (this way it works as about three pedals in one without being exposed as a primary chorus/delay/flange/phase)
All these pedals have the dc input on the side which I reckon is a brilliant idea for non standard pedal board saving space, but yours might have an issue with this so check it out first.
Great idea this gear form Behringer
Incredible what you get with this pedal. You can experiment a bunch od effects with the same pedal ans enjoy a very good sound and control. The price is amazing, could n´t believe .
I find one good effekt...
This is a stomp in the usual way , no effects are stored.
In a single-effect stomp that's not so bad because many people use just not umpteen different chorus ( or whatever ) sounds. Who makes but is probably better off with a multi-effects with memory locations.
The BEHRINGER FX600 is on the design for live use a very unfavorable device , sitting there several different effects that are not called up individually without fumbling and can be saved .
Therefore , most players buy those individual effects that they would use the FX600 as single pedals .
For a beginner, the thing could also be a very nice tester.
The operation of such a ground offender 's much simpler than a multi-effect program with menus and at home it's not so bad if much needs to be turned over to the unit.
29 euros are really not much, but the buyer has to be clear that he later (assuming the thing sounds passable ) has no real multi effects unit .
It may be realistic to assume that he is touting 3 settings and adjusted during the concert 2x .
However, if one of the effects is useful and the thing is behind even used only as a single effect , then the price is also not too much.

This pedal arrived yesterday, and I spent a number of hours playing about with it. Up till now, I have been using the Zoom G2.1Nu multieffects pedal, which I quite like. But different sounds and set ups in different venues mean that you have to change the presets quite often. I wanted to move to a stompbox to have more control over the tones. I wasn't prepared to pay a fortune for a different stompbox for each sound, so this seemed like the perfect compromise. I'm still getting to grips with it, but already I feel this is a step up from the multieffects pedal. Once you play around with the sounds and tones within each effect, you can get pretty much any sound you want. The control of being able to just twist a dial to change the setting and not having to go in and save it as a preset means you're saving time and effort on stage. Behringer do good quality at affordable prices and have come through again on this one. A very good buy.

A great buy considering the price. The plastic housing might be a little weak but the sound(s) is great.

An excellent piece of kit for a beginner - has a multitude of facilities!! I would have liked to use multiple effects but at this price an excellent value for money
Bought because it was cheap and looked interesting?...
Yep.....it works fine...but, I don't use it because I need to use more than one of the built-in effects?...that can only be used one at a time!....I keep it in my gig bag?... (just in case something goes wrong with my effects board etc)......d;-)
Handy and very affordable
not the best ever, but good enough to expand the pedal board if it's not a main feature among the gear.
Is it possible to pack so much into such a small box?
Is it possible to pack so much into such a small box? After playing with this pedal, I'm not so sure. Unfortunately I'd say the most remarkable thing about this pedal (other than the price, which is practically a give- away) is the light to let you know it's active. It's practically bright enough to let your friends, neighbours and anyone on the moon know you're switched on. It's functional but also a little irritating. The effects themselves are passable and they perform as required but inevitably Behringer have sacrificed some flexibility around the controls to produce this pedal so you're left with some pretty basic options. Of the controls, one selects the level, two select the effect parameters (these are different for each effect) and the fourth is the effect selector itself. This final knob puzzles me a little as it lacks a reassuring "click" as you turn it from one effect to another which leaves me constantly wondering which effect I've selected. In short, whilst this pedal is great value for money (like other Behringer equipment) I would only recommend as a first foray into pedal buying. Excellent for practice but not for serious gigging.
Great Multi Pedal
This is a Great little pedal for chorus / Fanger sounds on the Bass. Great value for money
