Incredible - I'm ordering a couple more

I thought it would be just a cheap spare to have, but it's really well made and sounds great. The only, very minor, downside to it as with it being so small, it could really do with being stuck down to something or it could have a tendency to move where the cables plugged into it decide they want it to go

Cheap but does it job

I have no problems with it.

It has no features besides individual level knobs, but this exactly what I needed, as well as some good amplification.

I use it with my band in our rehearsal room, because we play through Cubase (I got an e-drum kit).

We needed some more amplification in our headphones, and this amplifier provided that and much more, since it also gave us handling of each output individually.

Really good for its price, I am very pleased! I cannot really say that I have noticed any "drop" in the sound quality output either.

Does its job pretty well

I needed a small headphone amp, just for tracking, in order to split the signal to multiple headphones. I think this is one of the cheapest headphone amps (if not the cheapest one), so I was keeping my expectations low regarding the quality.

I was pleasantly surprised when I tested it: I have no noise/hum issues. I can't tell for sure whether the audio signal that comes out is degraded. It may be, so just to be safe I wouldn't use it for critical listening, but just for tracking it is the perfect cheap solution.

Keep in mind that due to its small size and weight, you may need to stick it on your desk to keep it steady.

For a cheap solution that just works, I'd surely recommend it.

GREAT LITTLE THING

This solved a lot of cable-stretching for me and has worked like a charm in my homestudio. If you don't get enough volume out of this, you're doing something wrong. Sufficient output from your sound interface is a must.

Behringer products are extreme value for money. I have used many of their products for years and none of them have died on me yet :)

Just what I wanted.

Wanted to split my headphone signal to 4 ways, so everybody can hear the same mix while jamming at the playing room in my studio. It's loud, not noisy, doesn't compromising the sound quality, and easy to use. Just what I wanted. And for this price, this was a very good decision!

Amazing little piece of hardware for a home studio

Nothing much to say about this, build quality is good, sound is good and it generally feels great. A good accessory for the budget home studio.

Good budget headphone mixer

I bought this because I needed a device that will enable me to have multiple headphones with different volume levels from my recording interface. For this job it's the perfect device. It sounds just fine, but I think you should be careful with your input and output levels and not crank it too much.

The only minus I can think of is that there is no on and off button and you have to manually unplug the mixer every time you want to turn it on and off. Other than that it's a good cheap mixer!

Value for money product

Another value for money device by Behringer.

HA400 provides clear audio and high amplification percentages on the headphones. Good quality materials used to assemble this box. Suggested with no doubts.

Very good

This product does very well what it is suppose to do. Daisy chains 1 input signal into 4 outputs with independent volume knobs.

The signal is very clean and for the price, I have no cons.

Great little headphone amp!!

Purchased this headphone amp to be used in live gigs. I use it as my personal amp for my IEM and it works great.

It's amplification is not crystal clear but it is very very good for the price. In a band situation you cant even tell that the amp is noisy. Although, if you're thinking in using it in a studio environment you might be better off spending a little more and getting something better. All in all considering the price this headphone amp is a great piece of kit!

Bought this in 2011 and almost 5 years later it's still going strong. Never failed on me, very reliable, small, lite but built like a tank. Great product!

Behringer HA400

Excellent headphone amp. I've only plugged two headphones at once and it has been enough for me when I've been recording, other artists at my home studio.

Very simple looking amp which doesn't take up space. I've placed it on top of my MBox 2 Mini and it sits there nicely. Good quality product which works as well as you would assume. Can't complain at all.

Price is not bad at all. I recommend this to everyone who is setting up their home studio.

A very inexpensive addition to a vocal band recording set up

This is a very decent and cheap solution for providing several headphone outputs.

I use it when I record a vocal quartet, where everybody needs a headphone monitor. Surely, for individual monitor channels one needs more expensive solutions, but this device works perfectly for my use-case.

Inexpensive and Reliable

I bought this headphone pre-amp for personal monitoring at a number of gigs we do. We are generally close to the mixing desk, but independent volume levels are something we wanted for a long time. Now, we can control monitoring volume easily while playing, and adjust monitoring levels for each of our headphones on the fly. The unit itself has proved to be incredibly reliable and excellent value for money. It is very easy to use, with four simple volume pots. I might have hoped for RCA input, to run signal from the mixing desk, but this is only a minor set-back. The unit has very good signal-to-noise ratio and (so far!) has not given us any "crackling" when turning the pots. All in all, a great purchase for a very good price.

Well worth the money!

If you are looking for a headphone splitter look no further as this is the only thing that you'll need. Don't bother with the more expensive splitter as it really isn't worth the money. I know this is Behringer, I know, I know what you are thinking. Well yes it is but in this case it's one of those products from the company that YOU SHOULD PURCHASE

It's cheap, it's reliable and you seriously won't find a better product at this price range! I use a lot of different headphone (Beyerdynamic, Bose, Sony) with different impedances and this helps me to get the right volume for each of them as if I just used a normal splitter the levels would be all over the place!

I chose this over the bigger headphone amplifier options as I felt it was all that I needed, and I'm glad I did. It functions exactly as I need it to and doesnt have loads of extra features that I'd never use.

Great little unit for the money.

Cheap as chips (like most Behringer products) but does a great job. Why would you pay more? Okay, so it's not as pretty as others and does have a somewhat cheap feel (its fabricated from folded sheet steel), but if you're looking a headphone amp with which to share listening duties, you'll not find a cheaper way of doing it. Yes I can recommend it as an inexpensive solution.
