It's a beginners pedal, too noisy, not for the pro's.

I saw a JHS video about behringer dust pedals, claiming they could emulate boss style distortion.

It doesn't hit as well as a boss distortion does. I will say I am used to a nice analogue distortion that I have from a vintage boss DM 2 distortion pedal.

It's kind of annoying that when you have the gain and distortion lowered down completely, there is still a bit too much distortion, so you can't really get subtle over drive tones from it.

Basically it's ok for balls to the wall, metal, but it's also very noisy, like unusabley noisy.

So if you buy this looking for a cheap distortion alternative, you'll also have to buy a noise gate.

It has a good variety of tones via the Eq, but if you ask me its all negated by the amount of noise.

Definitely a beginners pedal.
