Great, but you want it on full blast, always.

This should go without saying on a heavy distortion amp, but this amp performs at its best when everything is turned up to the max. I love it dearly, and the only complaint is I wish I could tone it down a little and get a bit more variety out of it. I wouldn't buy this as your very first distortion pedal unless you play very heavy rock or metal, but if thats what youre looking for, this is the pedal for you.
