Behringer HPM1000 Reviews
Sounds good
I ordered this set to replace the exact same one I've been using with my main computer. Sound quality is very good, although volume level is low.
perfect
good cheap decent quality headphones
great headphones
comfortable, sounds pleasant to listen to, durable, great to check the low end on mixes
Quality meets price
The build quality is very good. The kit includes an adapter. They sit comfortably on the head. My ears don't get tired of them. One wire is very convenient. But the sound of the uni certainly matches the inexpensive headphones. It is a little fuzzy and indistinct. But for the price, not a bad option. If you listen to news radio, then it will do. But for music, I'll take the more expensive ones.
Durable for school daily uses
We brought 4 headphones 2 years ago and it's still under good condition. Good quality and durable under this price.

Behringer
Comfortable to use, little weakness power.Clear sound and good bass, but haven't deep bass.
Good value for money but beware EMI
I bought 8 sets of these along with a Behringer HA8000 Powerplay headphone amp. (The original intention was to record a group of singers, but that never came to be.)
I wanted to record a 6-piece band and having plenty of these headphones, I dished out a set to each band member for monitoring purposes. However, when the monitor levels were turned up beyond a certain point, the guitarist's amp and the bassist's amp gave out a high pitched whistle. Furthermore, when playing back the recording of those two channels, the entire monitoring mix could be heard quite prominently. But when I swapped the headphones for sets of my somewhat superior Audio Technicas the problems went away.
The only conclusion I can draw is that the Behringer HPM1000s give out a lot of electromagnetic interference (EMI) which is picked up by the unbalanced guitar leads. Vocal channels didn't suffer this problem due to the mic cables being balanced. This EMI consists of everything fed to the headphones including the signal being recorded, which when the level is increased causes a feedback loop via the monitor bus causing the whistle in a similar vein to acoustic feedback. Bearing in mind that the bass guitarist's input to the recording desk was via a DI, i.e. no microphone, this reinforces my opinion.
Has anybody else experienced a similar problem?
Excellent headphone
For me, this is one of the best headphones available in this price range. They sound really nice and fit the bill perfectly for a basic home studio usage!
Good quality for the price.
Yet again Behringer come up with a low cost product that works great. Running a studio and radio station with multi use from these headphones, they stand up to the test and the sound and build quality is great,at this price I would recommended buying them and keeping a few pair spare.
You get what you pay for
11 year old kid sister gets a lot of mileage out of these for general Netflix use and the likes, but generally they're not that great. Very, very muddy sound with no resemblance of sparkle to be found. I wouldn't recommend these for the sound they produce, but they're dirt cheap and decently comfortable as well.
i decided to go for this to play music at home - plugged straight from the guitar amp - i wanted something that blocks external noise a little bit.
i am overall happy with it - the sound is fair, it does block enough noise. Dont expect miracle, it still sounds cheap, not comfortable (ok for 40 minute practice, not to listen to music all day) and it also feels very plastic-ky.
for the price it's hard to beat.
Behringer HPM1000
Looks wise they are quite cheaply made, not "tacky" cheap, but cheap none the less. They are comfortable to wear for long periods of time and the 1/4 inch jack adapter is very useful.
They sound good, not brilliant but for the price they are top notch, overall I am happy with them and would buy them again if money was still a problem or I didn't need £300 sound quality.
Cheap and cheerfull
I bought a pair of these headphones because I'm a huge fan of behringer and I pretty much collect headphones. There is a reason why the price is so cheap. They are very basic very bulky headphones with fairly poor sound quality. If your a dj or producer looking to buy a pair of a headphones these are a NO if your just buying them to wear casually around the house then yes maybe. Definetly not recommended to wear outside they are huge looking. All in all I would just save up for a decent pair and not go for the cheap ones
Not the best sounding, most comfortable or highest quality; but great price.
These headphones are extremely cheap and to be honest I only bought them to see what ?8.90 would buy you. The sound quality isn't actually too bad; especially considering how cheap they are. They aren't very comfortable as they don't sit particularly well on my head. The build quality isn't great either - the jack plug had broken at the cable within weeks of occasional use, so I had to solder on a new plug.
My 2nd set
This is the 2nd set of these I have owned and the first set only broke because of user error these are really well made have a lush deep bass sound and are very comfy to wear the only thing that would make these better is a slightly longer cord :)
Headphones for everyday use
I buy this headphones for public bandroom. It is cheap and if it brokes, i doesnt cry :P But the sound is not good and clean comparing my AKG and Superlux headphones. But covers nicely ears and it is very light. Not for studio work.
AMAZING for the low price!
I had my doubts when ordering these because of the insanely low pricing for a pair of headphones, but I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived. They are easy to adjust, and really comfortable, and the build is solid, apart from feeling a bit plastic-y. You could not find a better pair of headphones for a price that's even remotely close to these. The sound is really good, but they lack a little top. Unless you are going to go all in and splurge on a pair of pro studio headphones, I really would just get these headphones. Overall great performance and durability, and at an uncontestable price.
