Perfect for what we need

I have 6 of these now and all our band use them. So much better than fold back speakers. great for creating a perfect individual monitor mix. Can’t rate these highly enough.

Excellent

One of the best purchases I've made for my studio. The price is quite much nothing compared to what you get...or compared to similar Aviom or Hearback products (Compared to Hearback stuff, Powerplay is superior in every possible way, better sound, better build quality, metal housing, sturdier buttons, price being something like a quarter of similar hearbacks)... Hard to believe this stuff comes from a company that used to deliver only worthles (but cheap) crap for decades...SUPER-EXCELLENT!

Brilliant for the money

A brilliant piece of kit for the price, much cheaper than other alternatives and works absolutely fantastically! Great quality and easy to use for myself and clients.

very nice personal monitor

Our band gots an X32 rack and we brought 4 P16-M for our band member. I am the FOH engineer and in the past time I need to take care of monitor. Now I can focus on FOH and band members also got good results on monitoring. We are planning to upgrade to Midas DP48 and this P16-M would be using in recording studio. We just add ADAT card for our X32 and routing signals from audio interface to X32 and finally go to P16.

easy to use and reasonable price

The P16-M helps a lot with my weekly music live streaming. It save lots of the time to fine tune those individual mixes which allow to focus on the main mix.

Wie im Studio!

Wenn man bis herausgefunden hat wie es funktioniert hat man Stuidiokomfort in der Probe und auch Live, genial! Tip: Da die BDA sehr bescheiden ist, bei Youtube nachsehen ...

Amazing product

Reduces headache for the in-ear mix engineer.

You can fully personalize your in ear mix!!!

great product which we use with the XR18 digital mixer!

Would recommend highly!

Only gripe is the screws for the mounting system.. which i would have preferred to be the thumb screw type.

flawless

Have been using it on the road for the past 7 years with my jazz electronics band and it has never failed.

It has all the features you'd expect from a studio monitor mixer but at this price point it's a great setup for live bands that want to do their own mixes for monitoring. You could even connect it to an active floor monitor if you don't like in-ears.

I have a 2U rack with the central module and a cheap focusrite 8 channel soundcard. I then get the channels I need from the FOH, hook them to the soundcard which is then connected to the behringer central module via adat. That allows to easily send 8 channels digitally to the behringer card and allows me to accept XLR from the venue (with the possibility of adding gain if needed). If you need more channels it's easy to hook up two adat connections for 16 channels. You don't need a sound card for this to work, but it makes it easier and more flexible to do the routing.

This setup also allows me to record the gigs multi-track easily.

An easy thumbs up for this one, great job by behringer.

System is great

I Use 6 of these in a studio setup.

I also used it in a live stage situation.

it works like a charm, but Behringer should use better materials. these wear out in less than a year. the electronics ar great, but it looks en feels to budget. I like to spend some more for the same products but with a better build quality.

If you use ultranet then these are brilliant

I now own 4 of these which I have used for bands, theatre, church - basically they are great. Your own personal mix under your own control. Putting the band on headphones give me the control I need in a theatre environment. So many complaints about the beand being too loud for the singers now gone completely.

Great

Excellent product for those who use in-ear monitors and need an enveloping sound.

Each mixer channel is sent through the appropriate port and the musician can then mix every single channel. The ability to choose the eq, pan, volume, groups, link and change channels puts the musician into a detailed sound immersion.

The aluminum casing makes the mixer light but robust at the same time.

Easy to use!

Excellent value

This little mixer just works. It's small, rack-mountable and has all of the basic features you need in a mixer. I am using it as a sub-mixer for the drum set to that I can mix the whole kit down to a 2-channel mix. For this price, you simply can't do any better. The sound is a bit on the brighter side, but with the built-in eq on each channel, this can easily be fixed by rolling off some the highs.

The Best Monitoring

It is the best monitoring system if you compare it with another one in the market. Very intuitive control and just connect with ADAT to your soundcard. You don't need any additional adapters to more than one device, because is powered by LAN cable between them. I recommend for studios, which doesn't want to spend much time with XLR/JACK cables between the mixer and AD/DA. Price is very affordable for whole monitoring system.

Compact and Easy to Use

Use

I've been using 3 of these units for about 7 months as part of my touring rig for alt-pop/dreampop band, Emerger. We use it to have control of our wireless IEM mixes. I power each of these units via a P16-I input unit via the Ultranet ports. I wish though that these P16-M units could also work without having to be patched with Ultranet. It would be incredible if they could receive audio via normal Ethernet ports and cables.

Pros

Easy to use. Plug and play. The limiter works great. 16 channels is more than you'll need. Power and audio supplied via ethernet cable. Good sounding too. EQ is helpful, especially for in-ears that lack bass.

Cons

Can only be used with Behringer proprietary Ultranet compatible devices, like the P16-I, P16-D and X-Air XR18. It would be great if the unit would ship with the mounting bracket for mounting to stands. This is sold separately.
