Essential for the gigging musician

Belt hinge is a little fragile and stretches easily but overall the unit is solid, easy to use and provided your batteries are fresh, delivers clear sounds to your IEMs. Simple to use, not a lot of features but adequate if you don't want to faff around on stage with loads of controls. I prefer this to wireless belt backs although it can restrict your movement on stage. With a short cable, it can feel like wearing baby reins! Overall, good value for money.

No problems after a year of using it.

Simple and cheap option for in ear monitoring

I use it as keyboard player since I don’t move much, the wired option is ok for me.

Changing the battery is a bit complicated..Solid material..

Very practical headphone amp

Great for connecting e.g. a effect pedal that lacks headphone output to headphones, for the times you just want to experiment on the road or on your couch. Good sound quality, and has more that enough power. Low general noise level. Stereo input using a standard insert cable (2xTS -> TRS).

Only cons (barely):

- If you turn it up to near max volume (so loud it would hurt your ears) you can hear a slight high frequency noise/tone. But it's not possible to hear this noise at normal listening levels.

- I wish it had 6.3mm headphone output instead of 3.5mm. But I guess that would make it too big.

Perfect and simple

Needed a solution for in ear monitors for when im performing either live on stage or streaming in Twitch Music.

This works great, I can come from a headphone socket or out of a bus. My bass player also has one and we can now have separate mixes going to our in ears. Amplifier is super "HOT" which is great.

Best price/performance bodypack

Took one for each band member for rehearsal purposes

With normal headphones it brings plenty of power to to make playing together comfy for everyone in the room.

Crispiness, of course, could be better but come on, it costs next to nothing and everyone hears everything and job can be done rather well

Not sure if it would suit you on stage with backing tracks, click etc. but as you well know, for serious use there is far more serious gear available

Me and all my bandmates are more than satisfied

very good

used it for some gigs , easy to use and straightforward. its as good as your in ear monitor. used mainly at mono and no complaints there.

pros:

- price is great

- small and lighweight

- has a locking mechanism

- has stereo or mono option ( mine was always mono)

not cons for what is is .

For budget inear monitor. I highly recommend these stuff.

Great update from P1 version

Very handy and easy to us. Only thing I don't like, the opening mechanism is loose.

powerfull and compact, Price allows no questions to be asked.

P2 is a much better than a P1 amp in both: size and power.

It is much more comfortable to use it for a standing setup, because, it is not as bulky as P1. If you make a custom cable 2 xlr mono > 1 xlr stereo it works as a stereo amp flawlessly. And thats the only thing that is better on the P1.

Power of the amplification and the power consumption is way better than it's bigger brother. 9v batteries on the P1, can hold not more than 1/3 time of this AAA battery setup.. Its superb. Quality batteries hold up to 10gigs (±2hours of playing thru the night) for me. While the P1 is not as loud and powers up on a single battery only for ±3 gigs..

It has a good headroom (much more louder than a P1) for playing with a loud band and setting up a powerful headphone mix.

2 things, that could (and should) be improved:

1: Though the format is small, its not very VERY strong. I have had used it for 30-50 gigs already, always clipping it to my jeans strap, sometimes sitting on a chair, sometimes standing up, and, it's chassis has a dent around a XLR area, and a belt clip has a little lost its form.

This does not effect its performance in any way. Just it could be a little stronger.

2: The batteries, more than a few times, after a transportation have had fallen from their places, so almost 2/3 times, out of 4, after you arrive at a gig, you have to open it up and reattach the batteries in to their place.

Price - makes it a no brainer.

Would I recommend them? Why would you even ask it! Would recommend it by 150%. It is a must have for any gigging musician. Just to have it in their backpack with a cheap set of in ears (for example KZ ES4), if the venue is too noisy/loud/not enough monitors/not working monitors - you can save your day for a ±50eur and hear everything loud and clear.

Just Get One

For the small sum of £30, it's just brilliant. Not all gigs I play where I'm using my in-ears need a wireless transmitter. This hard wired belt pack is perfect for smaller bar & pub gigs, even rehearsal rooms & home practise. No low end loss here, a perfect full range sound every time.

Using an XLR it works in mono only. The XRL cable also locks in to the P2 (so you won't accidentally pull out the XLR cable mid gig), as long as the XLR connector on the cable has that small locking tab. Most do, some don't. If you open up the P2 (like when to change batteries) you'll see there's a mono/stereo switch mounted on the PCB. In stereo mode you can connect a stereo jack cable and have a stereo mix. The jack doesn't lock in though, be careful not to pull it out by accident. Having the mono/stereo choice is fantastic.

Even though two AAAs last for many hours, I recommend getting rechargeable batteries & a charger if you're going to use the P2 a lot. Which you probably will if you buy one.

If you want to use in-ears, you need one of these. If you already have a wireless for your in ears, you still need one of these. Even just as a cheap back up in case your wireless battery dies in the last set of the gig, or to use at band practise, you need one of these.

Very Sturdy and very reliable

This thing is built to last and it of high quality in both its build and how it sounds. the only one minor thing I would say is that the clip, while being totally useable and solid pulls away from the casing like a spring if you're too heavy handed. Otherwise it is very very good and well worth the price

Great

These are great. Give everyone in my band in ear monitors cheaply

works perfect

its as advertized is very nice i use it all the time on gigs never let me down

The whole ensemble uses it

Sound quality is good, no problems, otherwise satisfactory product. Only the build quality is lacking a little - the belt clip started to loosen after a while, but not to the point it would be unusable.

Most satisfying pro tool that I bought

On stage or not I'm using behringer powerplay p2 to hear my bass guitar. Battery life is almost two months. I have paired behringer powerplay p2 with shure se 215 monitors. Did not have any problems or so. Behringer powerplay p2 is pricewise for the win product. I highly recommend. If you have no problem with cables this is the solution for hearing.

Bang for the buck, good quality and sound, useful for commentary position. A very useful tool.

Everything seems alright. Seems a little bit fragile when you have to change the batteries but otherwise good for its price
