Epic S&H - just like the old days

Very impressive module based off the original 2500; delighted with the results - good solid build and great price too.

Better than the original.

My first 2500 series module. Not only does it work exactly as expected, It's just nice to look at as well. It's going to be fun to play with. One can always use a couple more S&Hs to add a little salt and spice.

I know that Behringer kept the 2500 series close to the originals, but it's a shame not to be able to tap the two clocks and noise sources as outputs. But overall? Love it.

Good module

I was surpriced after reading reviews, how Strait forward this module is, it's already my go to sample & hold module.

Great reproduction

Very capable and versatile dual S&H unit, with plenty of CV control.

And just like the original ARP module, it will do Track and Hold when triggering it with the Gate switch selected (ie. it outputs white noise, or whatever signal you're sampling, for as long as the gate is open). Bear that in mind, as when Trigger is selected it will need a full 5V to respond.

Very good module

Here are some pros and cons:

Cons:

- its a pretty large module, if you dont have a lot of space in your rack, thats not the module for you

- my module had a little inperfection in the printing.. but thats not too important

Pros:

- it does what it sais

- in my opinion it looks very appealing

- the price is unbeatable (i bought mine for around 70 eur!)

- you have 1 internal clock (with range switch and a on/off switch), which can be modulated by an external source (with an extra attenuator)

- You have a sample button which can be useful at times

- you have an attenuator for the external signal which will be processed by the module

- you have a attenuator for the inbuilt white noise (for random voltages)

- you have besides the internal clock the ability to use an external clock / gate

--> you have all the mentioned things two times!

I use this module in around 90% of my patches due to its big flexibility and the usefullness. I cant exactly say if this module is an exact clone of the original Arp 2500 sample and hold module but I bet that if there were any differences that they are not important.

I only can recommend this module to anyone who has some space in their rack and needs a high quality sample and hold module.
