Behringer U-Phoria UMC202HD 5-stars Reviews
Good bang for the buck
This interface delivered unexpectedly a very high quality that is not so commonly associated with Behringer products - the preamp is clean and has very low noise, the headphone amp was clear and free of distortion.
If I could complain at all, the drivers for Windows and Mac are just... Sub par. ASIO driver in Windows are quite unreliable and sometimes requires a full restart of the system to get it to work. In Mac, sometimes using it with DAW results in unexplainable distortion.
All-in-all it was still a very pleasant experience and if you're looking a bang-for-the-buck, you might be pleasantly surprised at this interface.
Great little interface
Very easy to use and fantastic sound. Knobs to adjust input volume are responsive for mics and instruments and the box is built like a tank. Great for recording things at home or throwing into a bag and bringing to a jam session.
Good features
A little different approach then my previous Scalett Solo but found no negative points so far. More features and precise dynamics.
Really good
I've been using this little interface for a while now and honestly I've not encountered a single issue. Sound quality is nice, build is solid, the preamps are fine. Everything just works and the price is really reasonable.
Very good
Audio Interface with simple operation
Perfect
Doet wat je er van verwacht!
Great Reliable Purchase
Does exactly what you expect, great price point and good quality
Great little device for home use
Great for recording at home and practicing.
Behringer does it again
Brilliant little piece of kit, I take it out with my laptop and it's brilliant.
Would buy again immediately if it went walkies.
Cheap and effective
I bought this along with a 'podcast' style mic because like many during the pandeminc I'm working from home and doing a lot more video calls and having a decent audio makes all the difference. I use a Sonntronics mic which is a dynamic so don't need the phantom power but note the phantom power is all ro nothing - ie you have it on both ports or none.
For my application - an audio interface to a small computer for video conference, it works well and is low noise. I haven't tried it with a DAW but I can't see why it would be fine for entry level.
The best one for this price and with 2 in channels
Amazing product
This was my first audio-interface I bought, and I could not be happier with the product for the price.
Setting the device up seems daunting cause the reviews around the web about driver compatibility are going all over the place. However after installing the drivers it just works.
One important point of attention which is not always easy to find is that the "audio quality" or "sample rate" for both the microphone and the speakers has to be identical in Windows or either one will not work.
Does his thing good
this interface works exactly as it should and is a great value for the price
Very good
Great interface with support for phantom power and xlr/trs combo port. It powers my 250 ohm dt 990 perfectly and works connected to my laptop
Good Audi interface for budget
Mainly use for my home studio, experimenting with sounds.
record guitar and voice.
pro - cheap
cons - sound tuning for monitors are not handy.
sometime I hear cracking when I start the DAW
and i miss midi in (
the rest if fine
enough for the bedroom guitarist
This thing does what it does. More than enough for the bedroom guitarist. I ve been using it for almost 6 months, absolutely no issues with macbook. Price is great, performance is great!
Great
For the price i doubt you can find anything better.
great interface for a nice price
I actually come from more expensive interfaces and I have to say that I find the behringer warmer sounding and not so "thin" as higher end interfaces. Yea, it lacks the high end sparkle of the more expensive preamps/interfaces. But that's not important to me.
Except deep sound, amazing audio interface
Except some deep sound problem, amazing audio interface, there could also be midi-in too.
This is a great audio interface
I bought it after watching all reviews on youtube comparing this to other products. It is as good as the Focusrite Scarlet sound and quality wise but lacks a couple fancy features like led on the volume etc. All the cons about sound quality and features are not longer an issue with the updates, so go for it if you want a budget interface up to 150e
