Behringer U-Phoria UMC202HD 5-stars Reviews
good product! but there is a feature
At first, I was afraid that the sound goes only in one ear, but it turned out to be the case in the adapter. I replaced the mono adapter with a stereo and everything is fine!
but if you record a voice to music, the direct monitoring sound goes only to the left ear
Be careful!
A good tool for little money
Arrived quickly. The look and quality of the assembly are solid. Connection is easy. I don't remember if the Win 10 drivers were included, but I downloaded them myself from the Behringer website.
I've been using it daily for six months now. So far there have been no problems. Once or twice I have heard a slight buzz from PA, but when I move the USB cable, the buzz disappears. (I use a ca. 10+ year old USB cable that came with my printer to connect to my computer, hasn't remembered buying a new from store.)
I use this device daily to send music from my computer to home PA. I've recorded some song phonos with Audacity, playing keyboards, guitar and bass in separate rows at the back of my home office. Everything has been perfect. Latency not perceptible when recording.
I have used it for playing sound design of theater performances, also worked good.
Recommend. Affordable, easily connects to your computer and does what it is designed for.
Great product at an affordable price
I've used this interface for over an year now and it works flawlessly with all DAWs and for my everyday usage as well. I haven't had the chance to test the phantom power as I have no condenser mics but the dynamic mics with the Line input and my guitar with the instrument input both work great. No complaints at this price point. Definitely a product equally good as Scarlett 2i2.
Good interface
I have no problems with how it works, and it doesn't sound bad either, clear with next to no noise, I'm personally not even sure if it's worth getting a Focusrite, for double the price, since this is built like a tank and just is plug and play (but it does work better with the drivers you can get on their, Behringer's, website,
Delivers on expectations
Very easy to use. Plug in and record, easy as that. Good quality of the captured sound and no delays in the monitors.
Value for money usb audion interface
It is a useful, well-built usb interface. It rarely casues me problems and at the low price it costs I think it is well worth it. Would be suitable for people on a budget or even someone just looking to hook up their laptop or pc to a pair of powered monitors.
Review UMC202HD
its a good inferface for home studio.
good quality and good sound. worth the money
Easy to use, great quality usb audio interface. The quality cannot be beaten for this price
Great device for it's price
You won't find nothing better for the price
Essential Home Recording Tool
It has everything you need to start working with sound.
The most successful model, you can record a guitar and voice.
Recommended for purchase.
One of the best audio interface at a very good price
I would definitely recommend this audio interface if you run a home or a small studio.
Two input channels (jack or XLR), very low latency (barely noticeable) and easy to plug/unplug headphones.
There's also the option of direct monitoring for 0 latency.
Tip: Just make sure to install it's drivers which you can find easily online.
Valeu for money
VERY VERY LOW LATENCY!
Great sound, usb powered, no ac adapter connection.
Cheap.
Home studio
This thing is built like a tank. The knobs and buttons feel premium and Windows 10 does not require drivers of any sort, just plug it in the usb port and it's set up in seconds... The sound is good...but I'm yet to purchase better headphones and monitors for my small room studio..
I highly recommend it.
great sound, easy to use
provides very good sound quality and power, outputs quite a lot of power. has 48v for the microphones that need it, also has a switch to dampen input sound if it is too loud which is great.
friends immediately noticed i had upgraded my setup when calling.
I bought this interface in order to help our singer who is very non-technical to be able to record her songs using a mic, guitar and a keyboard.
Preamps sound very decent using a microphone or an highZ instrument. They also accept line level signals.
This interface is an excellent value for money. It operates on all realistic samplerates. Drivers are solid on PC and you don?t even need to install any drivers on Mac.
There?s no control software/app for monitoring and routing, you can only adjust the analog no latency input monitoring vs daw monitoring. But this makes everything simpler for people who are not into technical side of recording.
One downside of this is, in analog monitoring mode, there is no option to pan the signal - the left input is routed left and right is routed right - which may sound strange when you want to monitor analog ipout signal.
At this price, there?s nothing to complain, Just a great interface at great value.
very good budget interface, perfect with Linux
extremely good value, and perfect with Linux (other brands please take note and make UAC-2 compliance a default feature)
Great
I was looking for something not very expensive and with decent quality and to be honest, I did not expect this quality for a cheap interface.
I use it mainly to record at home and I couldn't ask for more.
I do not see any problems it is doing its job.
If you are looking for a small and cheap device to home-record it is the best option.
Cheaper than ever
With a great and solid metal construction this usb interface is perfect for an home studio recording. The Midas pre-amp are pretty good and the sound quality is stunning for the price. Great product.
can't be beaten for the price
For this price point you can't get a better audio interface. The build quality is good, the whole casing is metal and it feels solid. The knobs and buttons have a nice resistance to them. The inputs have a button so you can switch to Hi-Z impedance so you can plug in a guitar or bass which is what I'm using it for, and it sounds good. Not much bad to say about this interface.
I use this interface as a main hub for both recording music and my podcast and as such it has great versatility and sound. It is compact, has really good build quality where buttons are not flimsy as they are in other interfaces (namely Scarlett 18i8 where output button seems cheap), it also responds great.
Only downside is that it does not have midi input on the back.
Would recommend!
