Awesome mixer for live gigs!

Don't let the small size fool you!

This little monster packs some serious dB power for live gigs. I use this to get feed from the main stage console, as well as feed into an iPad with the metronome tracks and then send the console to an external recorder, while I hear both the console and the metronome on my in-ears.

It has so much power I only keep the phone levels at almost minimum on stage and we do play very loud music!

Handy little audio interface and mixer

I use this as my audio interface for work-from-home and gaming, because I wanted volume controls next to my keyboard. In that role it works perfectly.

Simple unit solves simple problems

Incredibly simple unit. I use it to quickly switch my computer audio between headphones and room speakers as well as using a decent mic. Great piece of kit.

very portable and it works

great to mix computer sound and microphone together, I use it when I conduct a music class, as it's easy to transport along with a good pair of compact monitors, just shove it all into a suitcase with wheels and take it to any classroom, and you can get nice quality sound in the classroom.

Very cool to use as a sound card for live streams

Very cool to use as a sound card for live streams. You can use is for pick up external sound through USB, or for send audio from USB to external source. One problem that You can not this do on same time. If you send your audio through USB, they go main mix. When You would like to pickup XLR audio to PC over USB, then You become back mix of XLR and USB audio, that You have send to mixer.

just not worth it

if you're gonna buy something this cheap, going for an xlr setup isn't worth it. anything below an M-Audio M-Track is just not worth it due to the amount of self noise.

Do yourself a favor, buy a cheap usb mic or a lavaliere mic or spend a bit more and buy a decent xlr setup.

Budget Audio Interface

It does what it says. And it is pretty easy to use.

Does the job

If you want something to start with, with something simple (i.e. mix microphone with main), this does the job.

15V phantom power. Be warned

All in all this is a great little mixer considering its price tag. There's a major flaw that I was not aware of when ordering it though: it delivers only 15 volts of phantom power. I have a SubZero boundary microphone that I use for gaming. This mixer wouldn't handle it. Even the light on the mic would not turn on. Clearly not enough power. Do your research on the net before you order. Sadly I am returning the mixer. A real shame as I would have really been happy with it if it was delivering the full 48V.

Simple Mixer for Simple Use Cases.

Build quality is quite solid, metals and plastics feel heavy duty and product has been thrown about a bit to issues. Works perfect out of the box and doesn't require any special drivers to be installed. Preamp is a little bit lively and does have a small noise floor comparable to a Gen 1 Scarlett 2i2. After a while the sliders and knobs can become noisy when moved, however this is to be expected because of dust buildup inside the unit.

Worth the money

Good value and good quality for the money spent on this product. No complains.

Ok for VOIP and let's play

I use this as a secondary interface for some VOIP apps that don't recognize my Tascam US-1800 multiple inputs. I don't use this as an audio interface for recording so I can't say how compatible it is with most DAW's, but for teamspeak, discord, steam... it's ok.

It has straightforward simple routing, a 3 channel EQ and a headset input.

DO USE THIS if you're a gamer. It will enhance the quality of your transmitted voice chat and you can equalize a bit to deal with boomy dynamic mics to close to your mouth.

DON'T USE THIS as a DAW interface. Save up a few more tens and get something better. You will be able to record a clean, rather low self-noise level signal, but I wouldn't recommend monitoring through this device as the returning sound is quite colored. There are better interfaces for a DAW out there.

This is a magic box!

If you know what you are doing, you can achieve great and professional results from this piece of equipment. Use it for professional broadcasting and broadcast to FB live applications. For outdoors broadcasting it's also recommended if you want to avoid hassle with big mixers and cables. Good if you use only 1 microphone and external audio input. Make sure you get the proper RCA cables to connect inputs. For broadcast using cellphone or tablet, get a proper cable converter (usb to micro usb). No drivers needed!

Beginners headache

I am a beginner, and it took a lot of getting used to. It provides good quality sound, one you figure everything out. Additionally I do like the on/off switch at the back and being able to tweak the settings to my needs. Again, I am not an expert and it has done a great job of my audio.

Good budget interface

These is not much to say about it. It does the job well and is pretty good at amplifying mics that require phantom power. Had it for over 3 years no issue.

Very handy piece of kit for simple recording

Very handy for simple one mic and line input with monitoring facilities and line out. Use it to transfer analog tape to digital via USB and also for getting mike into USB format. The audio path is a bit confusing at first but having found a diagram on internet I find it is now a very flexible interface. The small size means I can move it around very easily. Being USB powered there is no additional power cable to plug in.

Amazing little mixer!

Depsite it not being completely sturdy(one leg is kinda smaller than the others), which is just a minor inconvinence, this little mixer does it's job perfectly!

Excellent!

There is not really much to say about this little mixer. I believe that you get excellent value for your money, and everything works as it should.

Good job Behringer!

Good features - lacks in sound

This is a fully packed small mixer.

I bought it to record video with a condenser microphone using a power bank as power supply.

It is not noiseless, some crackle can be heard in the recordings, it sort of destroys the purpose of using it for recording purposes.

Edit: I have found that some DC-adaptors are worse regarding sound quality. The regular mobile charger USB adaptors are crap. When I plug it in to the computer USB port, it is practically noiseless. I should have bought a slightly larger mixer though, I need more channels.
