GOOD !

I bought this mixer to connect to my Laptop as a usb-interface.

To work out ideas on the road or holiday, works fine, no audible latency.

A really good small mixer for the price.

Works really well, delivers microphone sounds to pc with no problems. (via usb). Phantom power works, mute works, works for recording instruments. Sound quality is only 4/5, there is SLIGHT buzzing or humming, but other than that cannot complain.

Great for the money

As a standalone mixer you shouldn't trust it a lot. Tends to be a bit noisy. As an studio interface there is something tricky that happens with incoming volume affected by the main volume knob! But you can easily work your way around it and use it for some fast travel setup.

Good entry-level mixer

Obviously, this tiny mixer is not a high-end level device. I bought it for on-stage mixing my monitor levels. It perfectly does it's job. Built-in compression is also very handy.

The only downside is the power supply is pretty heavy - even heavier than the mixer itself. Because of propietary standard, I can't replace it with something light-weighted.

A cute little mixer

I bought it as a more portable alternative to my more bulky Yamaha MG-10Xu and it works really well when viewed as such. Of course it doesn't have so many channels and features as the bigger unit mentioned before, but that should be expected when reading the description. The USB audio interface works quite well too. The only slight problem I have is that the sound of the main mix leaks slightly into the headphones when it shouldn't be sent there, but fortunately the computer audio doesn't leak to the opposite direction, so, it's quite ok!

brilliant mixer

I needed a basic mixer to record guitars and plugin stuff like a microphone and drum set. This little gadget works perfectly! It's so easy that I use it for remote work too. No more headphones but quality monitors and the xenyx as my sound center to manage everything!

Only downside is the power connection in the back, which doesn't fit solidly. It feels loose and unreliable.

For recording while listening to a main track, don't believe what they say that its not possible. Theres an easy workaround just bridging then aux input and output. Check youtube for help.

Sub-entry level device

I bought this device to use it in online lessons and to record some basslines for learning purposes. It is barely usable.

The power supply connector has a very weak grip and disconnects frequently as you try to move the xenyx. This is annoying. The digital sound going through the USB port is strongly affected by noise in my configuration, i had to fix it by myself. When i bought the device i was convinced 16 bits were enough for learning purposes: they're not, the sound quality is poor, is different from the analog outputs. The analog sound in the earphones and mixer outputs is good, no noise or distortion.

So the conclusion is, xenyx is a small analog mixer, a little unconfortable, that allows you to send digital sound to your PC with poor quality. Not more and not less than this

Does the job easily

This is a good quality item which functions very well. I bought it as a second device but find it first device quality.

It definitely does the job with little effort.

bad interface and bad mixer

Used mostly as audio interface and seldom as mixer

records noisily and sometimes has weird spikes. In output it is much much worse, unusable I'd say.

I guess i (and anyone in need of a cheap interface) should just have bought the umc202hd but when i tried to use it as the mixer it's supposed to be the results were even worse so I don't think this should ever be bought.

Almost Perfect for connecting to computer

Does everything you want it to though I get a hum through the USB-Interface. When I disconnect the USB it disappears. I connect it directly to my 2018 iMac. Fault could be with my iMac...

Small, featured. Perfect.

I've a number of interfaces, but needed something for a quick online broadcast. This fitted my needs perfectly. A decent preamp for the XLR, with a simple compressor. Two stereo inputs, and a seemless USB interface. It'll never be a SSL or Audient unit, but for a simple get out of jail unit, it worked a treat.

My #1 choice for online presentation audio setup

I have used Behringer mixers for years and love their high quality, look and feel.

I bought the 502 for using a non-USB mic plus headphones or earbuds on Zoom calls - mainly as the presenter.

It's great and flexible. Recommending this to professional speakers all the time now.

Easy for the non-tech person to use and gets brilliant results.

Does the job

I like behringer stuff in general and like what they are doing.

I bought this just to have a little interface I could use. And have since called upon it in various studio situations in which it helped fine.

I have no problems with it at all. It works fine and allows a lot of variety.

i can recommand this highly as it can run for a long time aswell.The sound is good and the mixing works good aswell. I use the mixer for implementing my own sounds through a xlr mic into songs that i produce and it works very well.

It's ok ish

I bought it and thought it's gonna be good, but problems that I stumbled upon are not deal breaking but are there. The potentiometers are not linear and below some level one chanel is lower than the other on the output.

For the price you can't complain.

EDIT: After about a year of use, the device stops transmitting In an Output signals at random moments. The only way for me to temporarily fix it is to Unplug and re-plug the device from the USB port. Happends maybe once a day. Currently looking for a Yamaha AG03 as a replacement.

Very compact all in one design for people who want to do entry level streaming-gaming sessions, sound boarding or instrumental jams.

For it's small size it does have a lot more features and options then you would expect from an USB interface for this price. including mirrored playback for 6mm jack Headphones, built-in 1 band compressor knob, and the ability to attach speakers for both L and R channels for playback

HOWEVER. I do not advice this mixer if you are looking to do some Voice-overs, audio productions or live audio mixing with it. The maximum bit rate is 16-bit in which it sends the signal to your device... which is.. not acceptable for serious professional use-cases.

ALL the knobs that have to do with the volume: GAIN, LEVEL, COMPRESSION and MAIN. Do not have a middle step to feel where the middle ground is. I Personally do not prefer this on my buttons, as I tend to play with the knobs while recording, to get a feel of where the volume resides, without looking at it the actual mixer.

As all Behringer Xenyx mixers do... it also has an incredible annoying hiss when you amp it up to the maximum through your computer. However If you turn it down to 50% so that there is no artificial boosting it is not noticeable. I have only had this problem with Behringer mixers so far.
