Great sound if you are a EDM producer, very good to listen to. Good stereo width and very comfortable!

Hi,

I've used this headphones in my home studio and also i have Audio Technica Ath-m50x too. I've listened many styles of music with these headphones. ?n my opinion Audio Technica is warmer, clearer and has better sounding for mix usage. For any other applications usage, Audio Technica is louder than Beyerdynamic.

I've compared these two for impedence, frequence response, comfortibility and I've tried to seek true sound for mixing. For just music listeners, Beyerdynamic can be lower sound and may need a sound card for strong voice.

I put Beyerdynamic 2.place after Audio Technica. I hope this feedback would especially be good for who is gonna think about to buy and can't decide between these headphones.

DT-770 Pro 80 Ohm

I regret that I bought 80 ohm, a better solution would be 32 ohms - the more universal. Cables handy to August long by 2 meters.

Good for beginner-semi professionals

Reasonable price and quality for recordings. It covers all of your ears and no sound from outside, it also very very useful on winter :) but i wonder about what will i think on summer. Yes its hot headphones.

Great Headphones

These headphones give a nice clean sound which is ideal for mixing. I use these headphones nearly every day and I'm yet to find something that I don't like about them. I've worn my fair share of headphones and these have to be the comfiest headphones I personally know of.

Very comfortable so it's not a pain to wear these for a long session.Great sound, not too bass-heavy like some others.

All in all im very happy with the quality.

Best you can get

In this price range, there's no better phones you can get for tracking at home or in a studio. Great isolation and sound reproduction, comfortable fit, high quality cable and connections.

2 years of use, and so good, so far!

I'm always very relutant when it comes to producing with headphones, however I can trust my mixing decisions on the Dt-770, as they have helped me countless times so far.

They have a clean and true sound, which will help you to uncover any small detail that you might missed using audio monitors, they also have a very stable low-end freq response which, as most of you might know, is hard to get when it comes to headphones.

I normally use headphones on the final mix/mastering phase, to polish those small details, however I have used the dt's a few times to build a track from scratch, and they always stand up very well to the challenge.

About the comfortability aspect, the way they could be more confortable was if they came with a massage kit inserted on the pads in the first place... I had a few headphones in the past, some good (even more expensive than the dt's), some so-so, and the dt-770 are maybe the only ones that I could use an entire day without feeling any kind of discomfort.

Very good

Great sounding and very comfortable headphones. These headphones do colour the sound, they give a bit more warmth and low-end, and they remain very clear at the same time, they do tend to compliment the sound. Fantastic for recording giving the musician some inspiration with the complemented sound, and with no headphones leakage to the mic. and they are extremely comfortable for long sessions.

Nice all rounder

Bought theses for monitoring low end as they have quite an impressive response. However I find myself using them as my every day headphones now.

Very comfortable and not fatiguing after a long session.

Mids are a bit recessed but not as much as some reviews make out.

These headphones are great for club music as they translate to a large club pa quite well.

Good for lower frequencies

I got these to double check how the low end was sitting for post production SFX tracklay. With a good headphone amp, these headphones really translate well to main monitors.

My only gripe is that they became quite loose on the head after 1 year of intense use which makes them less comfortable and not as isolated - compared to my sennheisser HD25s, sennheisser have a better build quality.

However, for this price and for how good they sound and translate, I would recommend for post production.

Best headphone which I used...

*I used some headphones at dt770's price range from akg, audio tech. , shure etc. .

*I was looking for a closed-back headphone which has flat, natural, hi definition sounding.

*I bought a dt770-pro (80ohm) finally. I liked its sound is very natural, it has flat frequency response and a big detail.

*its insulation is very succesful.

*it is very comfortable for its size.

Absolutly Perfect

very Nice and confortable headset !

I use it with a Pod HD 500x and iy's just perfect, nice sound !

You can play a few hours easely!

The cable is long enough and a little bit bigger than the normal

Can't really complain about anything

They're fantastic, there's not much more to say.

They're super comfortable and the sound quality is excellent, the bass also hits the sweet spot for me, not too heavy, but enough to give bass effects a nice kick.

They completely changed how I listen to music and play games, you hear sounds you didn't even know were there.

They're also miles better for gaming than any gaming headset that I've used, the sound stage is nice and wide so you'll hear sounds all around you.

Great headphones

Our Music technology teacher in college recommended these headphones. And I'm delighted with them, extremely comfortable, great all round sound at any level. In studio these are even great to mix with if you working late at night etc.

These headphones are awesome !

Beyerdynamic DT-770 Pro is really good for editing and recording music.I am really happy with the 80 Ohms model.I recommend it to everyone who wants to buy a semi-pro headphones for their home studios.

First Impression

Goot them today first thing I noticed : Build quality - amazing. Sound - woah... eargasm after eargasm, I'm a basshead and listened to Bring Me the Horizon - Septimental album.... Hospital for souls was something amazing. Electronic music like dubstep, drum and base, trance, house, etc. also sounds good, not too heavy on base, you can clearly hear different low frequencies and they don't interfere with other. They sit very well on the head, a bit of clamping force is felt but it doesen't hurt the listening. I was listening them on the road to university, about 40 minutes in a loud enviroment and sound isolation is good.

The only thing that I wish was implemented is an detachable cable.

NICE PHONES

I have had lots if headphones over the years tho not the best I have had sound was a little heavy on the bass at first but when you get used to them they sound nice.

I got these mainly for the isolation of sound when recording vocals and this they are good at.

overall a good all rounder prob not my first choice but for what I wanted they are perfect.
