beyerdynamic DT-770 Pro 250 Ohm 5-stars Reviews
Guitar monitoring with Line6 Helix
I use it to monitor guitar directly connected to Line6 Helix headphone output.
It helped smooth the response that with my old headphones was quite "harsh". I think it's due to the better match with the Helix output/impedance.
Very happy.
Pros: Flat response. Spacious stereo image. Fairly detailed
Cons: Needs power to move the drivers, would not suggest for usage with portable device
Great audio quality and comfort for long periods of time
These headphones offer me a lot of flexibility of use - both in recording and mixing. They're exquisitely well-made and have a great sound. For mixing and mastering purposes you'd do well to consider the 880s and 990s, as their semi-open and open nature suits the task better. However, for my current situation where I need a set of headphones to fit both roles, these do it to perfection.
I've been looking for a set of studio cans for a while, and have always heard amazing things about the 770s, 880s, and 990s. Initially I was having a hard time figuring out which one of those would be best for me. I wanted a pair of headphones that I could simultaneously record with (meaning, with minimal spill), and that I could mix and master with.
After a bit of EQ I got them to sound more natural and a bit more neutral. The 770s have a bit of a fame for strident highs. While I don't exactly agree that it is overbearing, the higher frequencies did indeed carry an extra power, which is something I don't have a particular taste for. After running some tests, I EQed them to taste by raising the lower frequencies by just a bit, as well as lowering the higher frequencies. Just a touch of gain adding and reduction here and there, and after that, they were good to go for me.
One word of warning for you is to really check the impedance for your needs. The 250 Ohm version is reported to have better clarity especially when it comes to dynamics transparency, and needs to be amped properly. For mobile day-to-day use, the 32 Ohm version would be your best bet, easier to amp to get you to where you want to be in terms of volume, at the very slight cost of detail. As for the 80 Ohm version, that one is usually selected for recording musicians (say drummers) who need a bit of extra volume for when recording louder instruments.
Either way, the claims of quality from everyone who recommended a pair Beyerdynamics are definitely well-founded.
Really good quality
I just got them yesterday and already love them. My mixing already improved beacuse its mutch more easy to hear frequencys from this headsett than the last i had.
very good
the product is very solid. shipping is super packaged. It is unnecessary to say something as sound quality.
Great set of headphones
Great sound, comfortable fit.
Nicee!!!!
a well-built monitor headphone which sounds more open and dynamic than its closed-back construction might suggest. The headphones offer a level of comfort not offered by other professional headphones.
Beyerdynamic dt pro 250 ohm
very clear sound, dynamic,/ ear(pillows) are not able to renew (adapter)
light weight 100 % good
DT 770 PRO
was looking for a good pair of headphones and ended up getting more than i expected . never changing from this brand !
Love it.
I absolutely love it.
Best headphones for studio.
Bought these legendary beyerdynamic headphones for my home studio. I used them before for recording/mixing acoustic music and i can say the sound is really great to gets the job done. They're really comfortable even if you wear glasses. I'm definetely going to buy another pair.
No problems so far
I ordered one to use in the office and it feels very comfortable for me. No problems so far with headphones, easy to clean, comfortable. Small negative point is that cable is not detachable and it's too long for hone use - for studio would be great I believe. Second headphones I ordered for home because comfort is more important for me and I don't want to risk by ordering something else. Both 80Ohm and 250Ohm feels good and works properly with laptop and iMac. However 250Ohm I would use at home to connect to the Amplifier because higher resistance produces cleaner and deeper sound, for small devices I would recommend take lower versions 80 Ohm or you have to power up device with Steinberg or Scartlett audiointerfaces to get most out of your headphones
Amazing product!
I mainly use these headphones for production and mixing and they are amazing.
I did not have the budget to buy studio monitors so I thought to invest in some good headphones. After reading thousands of review, I chose this one at 250 Ohms.
Beyerdynamic is a long story brand, reliable and solid.
The sound quality is impressive and does not affect your ears after listening for hours.
They are very comfortable to wear for hours and hours, totally different from my Marshall or Beats. Since they're overhear studio headphones, they won't let you get tired. Moreover, the soft material inside the headphones make them soft and comfy as a pillow.
They are well-built and the material used is solid. I have them since December and I am satisfied.
I do not see any cons to these headphones and I really advise you to buy because they changed my musical perspective.
I recommend you to choose the correct amount of Ohms.
I will definitely buy a new pair for mastering.
super, as expected
great headphones for my home studio.
Used with Focusrite Clarett2preUSB at 96khz is just amazing sounds quality (even listening to MP3s..)
Great studio headphones
I bought these for tracking guitar and they are fantastic! The sound through my Motu 2 is phenomenal, isolation is first-rate, and they are so comfortable that you forget you're wearing them. Highly recommended!
An excellent pair of headphones
I was convinced that this is excatly what I need for studio applciations given that the closed type of headphones was what I was looking for. And these almost didn't disappoint. The sound seems quite natural, if a bit too lively on the timbre range. Compared to the studio headphones I had before, this seems a little off. But you can of course get used to this after long monitoring sessions. If you have a good ear, it will adapt! So I guess it works well in the end providing a pretty flat frequency response, if slightly exaggerated at some frequencies.
Favourite pair of headphones for long hours.
Not only these sound extremely good and precise, but they are the most comfortable headphones I've ever worked with. I remember myself back in the day, trying these once, wanting them since then, got them I think 1.5 years back, still enjoy them. I 've always been careful with cleaning, storing, etc, I admit it, but they still look as new, never had an issue. Totally recommended in their price range, maybe even when targeting a bit higher.
BEST HEADPHONES SO FAR
I haven't tried every headphone on earth but these ones are just perfect for the job.
I can literally mix everything with the headset.
feels comfortable and does the job.
Very good quality
Very good quality, happy customer :)
The go to headphones!
This is the go to headphones that I would choose even in mixing and mastering situations or even in production.
The only problem that I face is that the speakers can easily get off. Of course you can put it pack in but it takes some time.
Superb for recording!
Had many, many headphones. Allways had my guitar or click on my recordings. Now is less of that. Superb headphones for the price.
