A Truly Deserved Title - The Studio Standard

You can't go wrong with DT 770 pro 250 ohm

Nice pure transparent sound, comfortable and light.

A perfect pair of headphones for recording.

Quality at a unreal price....

You would not want for more in studio headphones.... seriously.

Very nice!

After owning a few other headphones set I think this just might be the ones that realy work for me. Quiet and clear, sturdy but flexible especialy the "telephone" cable, very nice quality. I prefer 250 Ohm over the 50 Ohm ones but that only depends on the style and workstation I`m currently in.

PRO !

Tried this headphones for first time in my friend?s studio and i said that i must have that for live applications

excellent isolation, comfort ( u can listen all day if u want without having pain on ears ) , robust design give u feeling u cant break them ( very important that all parts are replaceable )

soundvise,( 250 ohm version ) its little too much HI FI in upper range and too flat in lower range, but if u connect them to some good headphone amp and turn them up, everything sounds just fine, so i dont recommend the for onboard soundcards as laptop, PC etc...lack of power and quality output for them really makes diference in listening experience !

10/10

A previous user of beats by dr. dre, never going back!

These headphones are just the thing you need, I mean, you are probably checking your options between Audio Technika mth-50x or Bose, or Sehnheiser... leave it, your search has ended, these are super comfy, can work with those the whole day, highs are crystal clear, that's all you need to care about, buy it now. :)

Trustworthy product

I am using DT770 for tracking and mixing heavy and clean guitar tracks for heavy-thrash metal music.

I bought the headphones by internet reviews and so far I am pleased with the sound of it. Bass - mid and treble is balanced and headphones give you good amound of isolation for loud recording room.

Build quality for the headphones is very satisfying. You feel like you can play football with it and use it for tracking whatever you feel like.

The only problem you encounter is how you feed the headphones. A headphone amp is a must if you're going to buy 250 ohm version.

Studio Quality

Headphone is good quality and it has 3 meters cable. very flat and frequincy response is enough for mix or records. But it can hurt my head when I use for long time. Burning time is changing in 2-3 months.

High quality for given price.

Used mainly for vocal monitoring.

Very good isolation, yes, I know... but they are not custom fit in-ears guys!

Great quality and absolutely great comfort, with the usual setback of closed back headphones of a lil' heat.

Yep, get them!

For less experienced people:

At 250 Ohm you might risk needing some amp.

E.g. from a Output/Headphones ratio of ~4x like mine I feel the need to keep the knob at around 3/4 or higher of max... nothing too cataclysmic and haven't needed any extra amp at all. Just something to lookout for.

Professional headphones

The feel:

The velour pads really make a difference, they do feel very comfy, also they can be washed with detergent and conditioner once in a while and they are like new.

They can accommodate big ears with room to spare unlike other similar priced headphones.

The sound:

These headphones reproduce an amazing amount of detail in a mix. They are not really bass-heavy, but they may seem so because they can reproduce very low frequencies, down to 20 smth-30hz. Accurately flat, without a drop in volume they go down to 45hz, at 44 you can notice a drop.

Modern songs can sound slightly sibilant, most likely due to the way they are mixed. Old music sounds ok though.

Excellent casque

Bonne surprise! Un casque qui peut se faire facilement oublier. Très agréable à porter, ne compresse pas les oreilles, le même confort que Sony MDR 7506 mais isole mieux de l'extérieur. Le son est équilibré. Impeccable pour travailler des longues heures.

Great comfy headphones

I like these a lot. I use them for situations where I need to avoid sound leakage from and to surroundings. They are a bit hyped in the high frequencies, but once you get used to it, it is not a big deal.

fantastic monitoring headphones

for the price, i haven't found a better pair of phones as a monitoring solution. once you understand their bass response, mixes made with these can translate quite well. very comfortable. pity the cable isn't detachable, and i've had one blown driver over the years, but it was worth replacing.

Too perfect to be used as monitors in a home studio

I use these headphones as monitors in my amateur home studio, and they allow hearing every small detail. My only problem with them is that I can't help but listen to everything in these headphones, which makes me sometimes forget the reality of consumer products.

Absolutely Love These

Bought several pairs of these for recording and love the sound.

The headphones sit comfortably on the head without causing discomfort over longer periods.

The sound is not absolutely neutral, it has a gentle bass boost, but I actually prefer using these to the Sennheiser HD650s. I find mixing with these headphones creates mix that translates well to other systems.

Highly recommended.

Great studio monitoring headphones

If you need closed back to inhibit leaking when monitoring and recording something on mic, these are exactly what the doctor ordered. Excellent price/quality ratio, I think.

The higher the Ohm rating the quieter the headphones are, so make sure you look at which model you go for to match the power of your source. Recommended!

Great headphones

I've used these headphones for home studio monitoring and listening to music. They sound great, are not quick to cause ear fatigue, and are very comfortable to wear even with glasses. I also like the curly "telephone-wire" cable; somehow it feels more comfortable than normal headphone cables.

Excellent

Have used the Beyer DT-100's for mixing for the last 15 years and after reading an on-line article about the DT-770 headphones, thought I would give then a try.

What can I say, they certainly exceed my expectations and are definitely a step up from the DT-100's. The noise rejection is great. Comfortable and can be work all day if needed.

Sound is fantastic and are now my new reference headphones at front-of-house.

Treat yourself to a pair, you wont be disappointed.

My only complaint is that the cord is not detachable as i do prefer a straight rather than coiled cord at the desk.

Very comfy,

On the plus:

- Very comfortable, especially compared to a lot of 'cheaper' alternatives. A lot of headphones have a 'spring' or equivalent mechanism (that keeps the headphones pressed to your ear) that moves, but this one I hardly notice.

- Excellent build. Quality material as far as I can tell, does not feel cheap.

- Decent frequency range, and it's especially noticeable in the low end and high end.

- Clarity: compared to some other products I have, I'd say I can hear a lot more 'stuff' in the mix.

On the minus:

- Perhaps price would be the only thing I can think of in my opinion.

Definitely can recommend.
