Headphones with open design - great for music listening and not blocking every sound from outer world.

Open structure of these headphones allows you to hear a very good portion of outside world and for casual listening I enjoy using both monitors and headphones at the same time, because of open structure they're not blocking deep bass from monitors, while benefiting from stereo effect of DT-990 Pro. They also provide good amount of low frequencies due to open design. However, one notable note is that they get pretty loud with the right hardware, and everyone outside can hear what you're listening to. Please be aware of people surrounding you. Great for mixing purposes. I've had them for almost 4 months, and since that time it was great. One minor complaint is that I quite frequently change my input jack from quarter-inch to 3.5mm, and the screw mechanism of the adapter is quite annoying to do every time.

These headphones have stood the test of time, remaining reliable and functional throughout the years without any issues. Everything about them is perfect. Coming from some Sennheiser headphones half the cost, this was a huge upgrade.

I was not fully aware of the concept of "open headphones", which means, not isolated. So I got myself a surprise when I realized my microphone pics up the sound playing through the headphones if I am close enough to it (happens during calls. People say they hear feedback).

These headphones can get really loud without sacrificing sound clarity, which speaking on that, bass is not overwhelming like in other cases, and the mids and highs seem to be just right. Crisp and clear audio.

They are great. But keep in mind that with them on, you can still hear the sounds around you. They don't isolate much.

I found what I was looking for. From all the variety of headphones for this range of price these are the best. As promised they have very nice sound stage which is the most important thing when you need to put all the drums in right places during mastering

Con su diseño open back te permite escuchar a tu alrededor sin tener que quitarte los auriculares, con bajar el volumen sobra. Pasando desde unos auriculares sin marca a estos es un cambio brutal. Los ear pads son la hostia: súper cómodos y suaves por el terciopelo. El hecho de que la diadema y los ear pads se puedan separar de la estructura de los auriculares hace que puedas limpiarlos sin miedo.

En resumen, son una mejora bestial por su precio. 140 euros es una ganga por la calidad de los materiales y del sonido. Es mil veces mejor comprar unos auriculares caros y usarlos muchos años que comprarte unos baratos que no valgan un ful y se rompan al año jajajaj

Perfect for mixing, and for hearing music for hours too.

Only bad thing i can say is they are a little bit tight but time will work this out, very nice headphones, perfect for mixing during a long time.

Fantastic headphones!

Very happy with this purchase for my homestudio, after pretty much review and specs googling before i bought them i must say they even exceeded my expectations. The sound and comfortness are just brilliant

Comfortable headphones with great sound

Comfortable open-back headphones with good sound. Good and comfortable on the head. For universal use (except for recording vocals).

Frequencies are balanced. Bass is enough. Many write about annoying high frequencies. For me personally, high frequencies are comfortable

These are my first beyerdynamic. Definitely I am very satisfied.

I have the 250 ohm version. Even without an amplifier on a smartphone they work

Le casque parfait

J'ai eu l'occasion de tester différents casques de bonne marques mais aucun n'égale celui-ci. Il possède un très bon son et est très confortable même après plusieurs heures d'utilisation. De plus, je n'ai eu aucun problème d'usure avec le produit depuis que je l'utilise, ce qui n'a pas été le cas avec mes précédents casques qui se sont tous usés au niveau des coussins et de l'arceau en cuir.

Extremely precise and detailed, high quality sound

Very, very bright, brightest I've ever hear, I had to get used to used. But I consider it a pro because it allows you to hear better nuances in sibilants and high frequencies. Bass feels like it goes lower than in DT770 PRO, and in comparison with them, because of high frequency boost on DT990 PRO, it feels like there is less mid frequencies. Open back - very, very good decision with it, next time I will buy headphones, they have to be open-back! Maybe not for recording but for mixing/listening it's much much better, more natural, real sound. Beyerdynamic never disappoints, 5/5!

Balanced wide soundstage

It is a great open-back designed headphone and plus side is lows, mids or high do not dominate the soundstage. Really good for at home or hotel room practicing with IR or listening to the backing track. It is also comfortable for long using hours.

Sound is decent enough.

Cons: The cable is built in, so if smth happens to the cable, it is RIP.

Great Headphones

The headphones are sturdy and well built. The ear pads are soft and extremely comfortable, perfect for long sessions. They offer superb sound quality, very detailed and accurate sound, good separation and sense of depth and great soundstage. It is really hard to find anything better in this price range.

Best headphones I've ever had

I'm a mix engineer and these headphones are 100% perfect for me. I hear everything. Awesome, wide stage. Clear sound without distortion and artifacts at any volume
