I've been using it for few months already and it has stayed in my arsenal for smaller gigs (50ppl+) the power is okay for closed spaces , if you turn it on on open space, you loose a lot of bass after 5-10m , be aware of that, if you have 2 units, maybe you can have better sound, option is to buy s1 subb paired with S1 pro , that could be a good combination for larger events.

only con is that you have a small 6'' speaker so the bass won't come out so deep as you will want, I hooked up mixer to it many times, and you have to be carefull not to overclip or distort the input. Speaker doesn't like loud sources cuz it gets you feedback very fast, from my stand point that is okay just turn the speaker to audience, if you use it as a stage monitor , be careful with input gain

- sound is great , very clear, and the reverb function is usable but not for every situation, more for busking on street..

Excellent speaker. It caters to the needs of street musicians, entertainers, preachers, evangelists and more.

It has all kinds of connectors and controls that are needed. It can also be connected to a second column. Independent power supply enough for 3-4 hours.

1 drawback - the bass is a bit too much and it would be nice if there was a knob for control.

Superb product

My wife and I do home and garden concerts with it. The sound is incredibly crips and clean. I even play better hearing the guitar sound behind me!

Nice and simple

A very good multi purpose mini PA. The sound is good compared to its size and it is easy to transport. The battery holds power for a good amount of time.

Fabulous!

Brilliant product from Bose! I'm a keyboard player and it's just perfect as my onstage monitor for gigs, such a clear sound and it's powerful! It's so good, two of my bandmates have them too, our onstage sound is great now! Having the battery power is also a massive plus! It charges really quickly and lasts a long time.

I tested this one in various setups and always got the great results out of it, the best part is that is very light compared to the speakers I carried around before.

Simply superb

One of the best pieces of gear I've added to my lot. Generally used as a stage monitor, and the clarity of sound is incredible, especially given its size and weight.

Equally, just to plug in and play at home, or play music through Bluetooth is fabulous.

Would highly recommend this unit.

This system is small but packed with awesome sound innovation that has changed my live gigs forever. The punch and quality of sound are simply the best!

Great

No phantom power but it is still great. I used it on acoustic guitar and bass. I dont know how can you get so much bass from such small speakers. And charging time is really short. Great allrounder.

Great speaker

I was looking for a speaker to okay in the street. This Bose S1 Pro is absolutely amazing. Great sound quality. Long battery, and really beatuful body, small and elegance. In the future I'll buy another one to okay with a nice stereo sound.

Perfect for my needs: Guitar / Vocals & Live Monitoring

Works really well with my Boss GT-1000 for Rock Guitar and home practice, then as on stage Monitor, or as solo with vocals, backing tracks (via bluetooth) and Guitar. Battery seems to go on forever and is loud enough for guitar Amp in practice scenario with loud drummer! Also works great in Garden for party music.

Just waiting to see how the problem gets sorted. Supposed to get 11 hrs but only getting 2 to 3 hrs. To be fair just reported problem.

Really versatile as a monitor. Good sounding, placement need to be thought through, though.

Makes even a decent bass amp

Used over the summer as a bass amp to play in a small jazz combo as indoor rehearsals were not allowed.

The volume is sufficient to be heard with drums/sax/guitar and the sound is decent, even though by no means a replacement for a full bass amp. Given its portability and great battery life it is extremely useful for (socially distant) outdoor jams. An added bonus is the second input to hook up another instrument, e.g. piano.

Really, bose is just amaing, boss is very strong, compact, easy to carry, perfect for gigs.

Love this Speaker, yes there are cheaper, yes there are louder, but this does everything i need and i liked it that much i bought another as a present
