Bose Always a good investment

I have been a Bose loyal fan for many years. Headphones, Bluetooth speakers, Wave music system. Quality of sound and build is always assured. So when it came to looking for a PA system I was always going to look at BOSE first. So if your a BOSE head like me, this unit doesn’t disappoint and is well worth the investment.

It's amazingly powerful and handy, but cracks at max volume level

I bought it as a little guitar and mic amp. Plus, I also use it as a bluetooth speaker. It does all of this pretty well and the treble, bass and reverb allow you to create your wished for sound. It would be even cooler if the bluetooth input could be modified similarly, but it can not. The mic is significantly less amplified as the guitar, which implicates that you cannot play your guitar very loudly and at the same time hear your voice properly. For my way of usage, this is a minor issue. Also works perfectly for karaoke's!! Though, when a song with a deep bass is put too loud, it starts to crack a little. Overall a lovely thing

Compact and Handy wireless rechargable

Couldn't live without it

For 5 years this little champion has worked through weddings, meetings, been a monitor for DJ sets and rehearsals. House parties and even small duo gigs with a guitarist or keyboard player and just playing playlists whilst chilling by the lake. After 5 years the battery finally gave up. I bought a new one and it's ready for another 5 years I'm sure. Forget the MK2 ! The MK1 is a great price now and will serve you well.

Perfect small amp

Great little amp for busking or small house or pub gigs. Very light and crystal clear tones.

Good but could be better (for musicians)

I must say I use this system for my live gig with guitar (Taylor) and voice. The sound of the guitar amplified is good only until you hit the middle point of the volume range, after that the sound gets very artificial and looses its acoustic quality, too bad. The selective switch for guitar work maybe for electric guitar but not for acoustic one - the sounds gets very high pitched and artificial again.

If I would use these speakers for parties and dancing I would give them 5 stars (I do though miss the EQ control on the input music channel). For my usage I would give them 3 stars but because of the lack of comparable better products I gave them 4 stars.

Good speaker, but after 10 -12 times of use , connection and charge problems

after 10 times of use, the bluetooth connection began to crush. After full charge during use ( 30-40 min) the speaker just stops. No power in it. In other moments everything works ok. Not cool for some serious use.

Mikrofonkanal zu leise

der Klang der stimme gefiel mir sehr sehr gut, meine taylor mit lr baggs anthem gefiel mir nicht so sehr durch die bose, ist aber vielleicht nur Geschmackssache. Sehr gut fand ich, dass die tiefe e Saite ohne verzerren wiedergegeben wird, trotz kleiner Lautsprechergröße.

wieso ich 3 statt 5 Sterne gebe, ist der Mikrofonkanal. wollte die Bose auch zusammen mit einem Shure wh20 benutzen und die Bose ist mit voll aufgedrehtem Mikrofonkanal gerade laut genug für mein 10 qm Wohnzimmer.

Ohne Mixer kann man die bose mit Mikrofonen die nicht sehr heiß sind, quasi nicht benutzen.

das stört mich doch sehr, darum geht die bose leider zurück, auch wenn ich den Klang von Mikrofonen durch die Bose und die Handlichkeit sehr schätze.

Amazing sound from a really compact speaker

I use it for cello performing and the sound is just amazing! Also its very lightweight and easy to use

Great sound, good components, mediocre manufacturing for the price.

As I saw a screw that was badly screwed (at a small angle, enough to bother my OCD), I tried to fix it... and ended up opening the whole thing. I had already tested it enough to know that I probably wouldn't be returning it.

Made in China, and it shows: some details are badly assembled together. The component quality is relatively high, but overall, I have doubts about its reliability in the long run (a bit like when dealing with Behringer or Bugera).

The sound is clear and it's as versatile as I wanted (I intentionally avoided the plus version). It's just... overpriced.

Small but powerful

Nice and crisp sound with amble sound to cover an audience of 50 people. I bought the bundle pack with Stand. I liked both of it. Quality sound and nicely built stand.

pure sound

This is all I needed. BT is a nice touch for leasure and fun, instrument and mic inputs with seperate controls is just enough for a small room gig, no hassle with power cable and AC outlets... I only miss one thing - one more S1 Pro.

Perfection

I use this as a small pa with a battery powered condenser for performing classical guitar at various events and I cannot overstate how easy my setup and teardown is. Sound is wonderful, as you would expect. Not a massive amount of volume but depending of the space you're performing in and the number in attendance it's perfect. I personally wouldn't use it with more than 30 people unless they were relatively quiet but it's not really designed for that unless you pair it with another or add the exceptional sub 1. In addition to this I'm also using it as a small wedge monitor at larger gigs alongside my maui 28g2. An extremely versatile piece of equipment. Highly recommended

Best speaker in this range.

The sounds quality is absolute mad. I just wish there was a subwoofer outside somewhere because it makes a bigger impact. But overall its MAAAADDD.

not loud enough to maintain clean sound of saxophone during gig

If have a good mike for saxophone but the sound on this Bose PA gets distorted very fast when trying to put some volume, and you need to put almost 100% volume during a small gig. So, not suited for amplifying horns during gigs in my opinion, even in smaller set ups.
