Great pedal

Really impressed with the range of sounds you can manipulate with the use of this pedal. Even if it's just an overall boost, this pedal provides a really good boost to solos or peaks in songs. If you have a humbucker guitar you can emulate the sound of a single coil guitar with the sue of this pedal, and vice-versa. It is also built like a tank so you don't need to be particularly careful with it. Great pedal.

Do it

So useful to make thes sound yust a bit tither and filtering the bad sound sout of maybe a fucked up box under your amp .. it will saved every sound you want and sounds so beutiful. great thing for evrey amp.

Great EQ

I bought this pedal to replace a behringer eq pedal as the switch was a bit sticky. As usual with Boss, this is a very sturdy pedal and does exactly what it says on the tin!

I actually mainly use this with my acoustic guitar, just a little bass and a touch of volume and the piezo pickup turns into a nice kick drum for looping. I also use it to add a touch more volume for lead work so I use the same settings. I have not tested it much outside of that but I'm sure it could handle any eq issues!

Boss GE-7

This pedal I'd recommended to those simple EQ'd head amps. From the Blackstar HT Club Heads to the Marshall JCM 800 Heads, this is what you're looking for to change the tone of your amp in all sorts of ways, from scooping the mids, boosting the bass or boosting the treble. This is the pedal!

Nice to have in your chain. Does the job well and doesn't add hiss etc.

BOSS GE-7

BOSS GE-7 is a decent pedal if you want more control of your EQ, it's not as good as the graphic equalizers which are built in to amplifiers like Mesa Boogie Marks or Fryette Pittbulls. But it does the job fine. You can use it in front of the amp or in the effects loop if your amplifier has one. The seven band EQ gives you plenty of control. Personally I prefer to use it in the effects loop for a completely clean sound.

I didn't like it much with high gain because it induces a fair bit of noise and it's not transparent, it colors the sound a lot.

Quality is like all other BOSS pedals, it's built like a tank and will probably last for a lifetime.

Boss GE-7 is an essential part of any guitar players pedal board

Many guitar players may not realize that a graphic equalizer is an absolute must. The guitars, preamps, speakers, cabinets and effects all distort the tone of your sound in their own way.

GE-7 helps you with your final touches. With a few tweaks you can make your sound stand out just right. Just bear in mind that you get the best result by weakening the unwanted frequencies - not the other way around. In other words do not start by boosting any frequency, that's really your last resort and adds unwanted hiss.

When the sound is right, you can then boost the volume, if necessary. So GE-7 is a booster as well. I am using two GE-7 units, because otherwise I would need to change the settings for every sound change. Ge-7 has well chosen frequency bands for your adjustment. Guaranteed results!

Great pedal. As expected!

This unit replaced the Behringer copy (the GEQ700) and it blows it away in all departments. Most importantly, it sounds far better. There is less internal noise, even at high boost settings, and it is much more responsive and therefore more versatile. The pedal is of much better build quality - the Behringer copy is plastic, whereas this like all boss pedals is the solid metal, almost bombproof casing. I use the pedal as a solo boost within my 4 piece rock band, in the effects loop of my Marshall combo (JCM900) and the combination of an excellent responsive EQ and the boost/cut facility allows me to get the perfect lead tone with a touch of boost. If I was to have any problems with this pedal, i'd buy exactly the same one again. Simple as that.

GE-7

This pedal gives you a lot of variety in tone. A must have for every quitarist. Its easy to use and you can get pretty much ''every'' tone with this thing. It does what its supposed to do, and does it very well :)

Really easy to use and effective EQ.

As always with Boss, the pedal itself is strong and you can probably keep it for years.

It completely improves the sound, you can design it as you want. The changes in the EQ are accurate.

A really good pedal to have at the beginning of your effects chain.
