The Mod Rate Expression doesn't really function

Boss ME-80

I find this pedal very beautiful, the buttons were placed in a way I find practical, It doesn't give me a hard time configuring, and I enjoy studying it. Boss ME-80 gives me so many effects and customization sets, I still haven't seen all of them. I like to solo, so combining the Wah Wah with some other effects it's amazing, and I don't need to go trought a lot of efforts to find what I need, every "section" is well described. Lastly, with the USB port, its amazingly easy to connect to my computer and record my songs, noise free, delay free, it's completely stable and I use it everyday for my recordings and rehersals.

Was a bit hesitant about purchasing a multi-effects pedal as I wasn't sure how much control I could maintain over the individual effects.Thankfully,my concerns were eased upon playing with this pedal.

The Build is very good and solid,I'm confident that it would stand up to even the roughest of feet pushing down on it! The knobs and are very easy to manoeuvre.

The sounds this pedal can create are astonishing. With so many different effects the possibilities are endless and the riffs seem to keep coming. Between different kind of distortions, tasty times on delay and incredible preloaded patches,this pedal has the lot.

My biggest dislike with this pedal though is that there is no way of using two effects from the one bank at the same time.

Another slight concern is the reaction of the footpedal as I seem to have to apply a lot of pressure to get any joy from it.

Bar these two issues,the pedal is a joy!

the unit is packed with features and feels well built but it does have problems, the foot pedal is made of abs plastic and not metal like a traditional expression pedal, for the price of this unit maybe it's not an option, so far the pedals feels fairly solid and functional but a metal one would have been nice. This unit is packed with effects, more than you will ever need, the modulation, pitch and echo effects are all great, the distortion effects are hit and miss, some good, some not good, overall I'm happy with the device it does what I need it to do but a better pedal and better distortion would have been great

In regards to price, it's good value. You are getting an excellent loop, distortion, mod, and foot pedal contained inside a metal casing that is durable. This pedal will take its kicks and bangs on stage and still work. Everything is compacted and laid out for the player (be it that you will need to spend a few hours playing with the gadgets to find the exact sound that you are looking for). I myself plugged an ukulele into the pedal and was able to create an immense wall of sound, from folk like harmonist effects to crazy jimi Hendrix distort ante solos! A good buy for the value
