This is a fantastic unit, and in many ways is a lot better than some far more expensive DMX splitters on the market. I used mine for over a month solid on a festival after I bought it with no problems whatsoever. Having both 3 and 5 pin outputs is really handy when using some budget lighting gear and saves having stacks of adaptors. It also has two mounting points for clamps or other accessories and a safety bond attachment point which is very handy, and powers from a professional powercon connector. I'd happily use these over units costing 4 times as much - and for the price difference you could just buy two. My only criticism is that the construction feels a little bit flimsier than some of the more expensive units, but it's still reasonably rugged, especially given the great price.

i have used this at a handful of gigs now and it has been amazing, being able to split the dmx signal to multiple different locations in a venue without having to run miles of cable. well made, it is a little bit tight in some rack cases. the only downside is i would like to be able to use both the 3 pin and 5 pin outs on the same channel at the same time.

Having tried several differant dmx buffers, splitters and every other solution between. This one is by far the most versatile and useul i have ever seen. The powercon in and out makes it simple to daisy chain several units in the one rack unit. The dmx inputs being on the back means it is neat inside a rack and doesnt require messy cabling to plug it in. Would highly recommend.

works straight out of the box DMX to analogue converter +ve or -ve voltage 10/12/15V easy to select requires 25 pin D plug to dimmer pack lots of options on this individual to the dimmer pack type the multi exchanger will work with them all and better value than replacing dimmer packs with newer DMX ones

The splitter is absolutely amazing, being a person who uses one universe, but have fixtures on multiple bars, this helps a lot to split that DMX signal, and know that the signal is strong and useable. One down side is that the splitter doesn't have RDM, but it doesn't really surprise me at the price point. Overall, im really happy with it, and for sure be getting more.

Great product....cabeling and connecting the lights is faster and works super. I connect it with ADM myDMXgo and also powering myDMXgo throu this splitter because it has USB port and its powering myDMXgo just fine...No need for extra power cable for controler light...

I Work at a theater venue in Ireland that only has one DMX line...So I bought this also with the Chauvet DJ D-Fi wireless dongles and must say this piece of kit is Amazing if anyone needs to extend Dmx universes from FOH to on stage. I plan buy two more , Also love that it's universal with 3pin and 5pin outputs ..The AC cable is behind the device too so it can mount into a19" rack without any issue

Just what I needed, Instead of buying an expensive lighting board with multiple DMX universes, this product allows me to do what I need with a fraction of the cable required. I have used this on multiple shows and it has worked a treat, no issues with addressing devices etc. and it can be truss mounted with the Velcro straps so you can put it just about anywhere.

The Eurolite DMX Splitter is great for its work, to split the DMX signal. Very low weight and together with the Thon Multiflex Rack, it is perfect go bring on small gigs. If you need a great, but not so expensive DMX Splitter, you can safely buy Eurolite Split 6X.

I bought two of these guys, one is working perfectly, but the other gives no signs of life. I assume it is some factory issue - quality control mistake. I did not check them while I was in Germany, so now it costs more to return the product, then the actual value of the product.
