MXR 6 Band Equalizer Silver

Based on 8 reviews
1. Low noise (it really has a much lower noise floor than other EQs I had and that was the main reason for me to look into the new silver MXR EQs. 2. Very easy to handle but of course you need to know how to use an EQ. 3. I'd have wished the overall unit would have had an output volume control but it's okay. 4. Can't say anything about the quality yet but so far it feels sturdy. 5. Some people complain about the LEDs being to bright: They are bright but not TOO bright. Great EQ, love it.
Empress Effects ParaEQ MKII Deluxe

Based on 7 reviews
For a long time I was hesitant to get an EQ pedal as I preferred fewer knobs on pedals/amp to tweak the tone. I was even more intimidated by Parametric EQ as it's not as visual as Graphic EQs. At last, I pulled myself together and grabbed Empress ParaEQ to learn how to use it and how to apply it to my sound. It was a leap of faith, but oh my, I didn't expect it to be that good and that dead simple to operate! In no time I was able to tune my sound or even correct it on particular guitar/pickups. Empress folks also did an amazing job in writing the manual, it's very useful and to the point. The pedal itself is of a top quality, completely noiseless and very versatile. I cannot recommend it enough!
JHS Pedals Haunting Mids - Parametric EQ

Based on 2 reviews
One of the best EQ/Boost pedal ever! I tried so many boost boutique and famous pedals and no one of them sound like this one. Where all boost tends to get compression to sound as side effect (which may be it is a good feature but not for me), this one leaves the sound dynamic boosting the volume with the great opportunity to cut the mid frequencies which cut dull sound and enrich the original sound of guitar. My fender american v neck strat never sounds so good and crystal both in clean and distorted sound! It could be improved the quality of box which it is a little bit plastic and thin but it is not a huge problem once fixed on pedalborad. Highy recommended!
Fairfield Circuitry Long Life Parametric EQ

Based on 1 reviews
I had 10 band EQ but I realised that I was looking for something different to sculpt my sound, so I sold it and bought the Long Life EQ instead. I'm very pleased with it. Because it's not a traditional EQ, it's not immediately clear how it works - you will need to spend some time experimenting with it. Once you understand it, you can get results very quickly in order to sculpt your sound. That speed of use was an important factor for me as i want to stay in the creative flow when I'm writing new music. The pedal ingeniously has two filters built into it; on the bass end you have a classic low-pass filter which sounds fantastic on everything including synths, and can be controlled by an expression pedal. It cuts off the higher frequencies and you can control by how much. In the mid...
Boss GE-7 Equalizer

Based on 50 reviews
I started using it when I realised that the beautiful tones I got from my guitars, amps and pedals at home had a tendency to get drowned when playing with my band. I chose this equalizer after reading opinions on forums. I was looking for a affordable, simple yet effective equalizer, with a good build quality. The GE-7 proved really effective at the task. Basically I use it only to make my tone sit nicely in the mix on rehearsals or gigs. I don't use it at home, because what I'm trying to do is to sound as good as home in a band context. I don't use it to create special sounds or to make my amp sound like another one, though it can certainly do that. I would strongly recommend this unit to any guitarist playing in a band, especially if there are other midrange focused instruments. What...
MXR 10 Band Equalizer Silver

Based on 23 reviews
I use the MXR 10 EQ at the end of my pedal chain and it's the best piece of equipment I've gotten in recent times. If you're looking to shape your sound in a way that will both enhance your tone and zero in on the way you play, this is the piece for you. No more sagging frequencies, no loss in brightness. Especially for those who are finicky with their mids as I am, it will help you stay clear of that all-to-common boxy sound you get when trying to achieve those scooped mids on normal 3 band EQs, since you splice the troublesome frequencies to avoid it alltogether and still retain and addapt it to your playability. Solid construction, easy to use, no fuss and plays extremely well with others, can even tame some overly bright pedals without it affecting your other pedals.
Joyo R-12 Band Controller EQ

Based on 18 reviews
JOYO is one of the most improving brands out there. They are doing cheap clones but they are good and this is one of them. I wanted an EQ which i can use for both guitar and bass, so chose this one, its covering most of the bands you need. Its effective, you can hear easily what its doing and can use as a booster if necessary. Nice color, nice LED, sliders stop at the center. People always neglecting the importance and effectiveness of the EQ, you can dial in many different tones just with an EQ, you should get one no matter what you're playing or your system is.
Mooer Graphic G

Based on 9 reviews
Mooer Graphic G pedal can fool you with it's appearance. With its gently blue color, the size of a key ring, but this little box hides a really great graphic equalizer, and not JUST the graphic equalizer. If you spend a little time and play with that toy for a minute or two, you'll find out some other features hiding in it. If you move its frequency bands above the one third of the scale, it turns into a phenomenal booster, and if you raise those bands over two-thirds then this pedal turns into a very nice overdrive that sounds better than many other overdrive pedals and booster pedals as well. It is very well designed and you can see that is sturdy and durable. Because of its size, you can put it in any pedalboard without fear that it will disrupt the current pedal settings because...
Source Audio SA 270 - One Series EQ2

Based on 6 reviews
This pedal is a small jewel, takes 1 slot on my pedalboard but bringing the features of at least 3 pedals. EQ (with possibility of managing everything on the pedal itself and not necessarily through an app), limiter, tuner, 2 separate channels that I use pre and post distortion, and 4 switchable slots to save your EQ curves. Also, you can build EQ filters and control them with an external expression pedal. It is kinda expensive small little box, but well made (sturdy, compact) and definitely worth the money!
Artec SE-OE3 Acoustic Outboard EQ

Based on 12 reviews
I bought this as I have a number of instruments with passive pickups, including a banjo, mandolin and a few guitars. The case is fairly substantial, I would guess lightweight aluminum, but enough to stop it getting broken. What I don't like, which is why i dropped it a few stars was the plastic battery compartment door. I guess for the price it is expected, but I would have much preferred the hassle of unscrewing the back completely or a metal screw door than this. This will be the first thing to break or lose, this additional would have only cost a few ¤ more and I would have gladly paid the extra cents. Anyway I will use this with a power supply. It is not the fact that I won't be using it, but if it breaks off and exposes the innards to the 'outside world' it opens the door...
