Bright flatwounds
I tried these flatwounds because I heard so many people rave about them.
They definitely look like high quality strings, but I didn't like the brightness of sound compared to La Bella 760s and they didn't feel as silky smooth like the La Bellas either.
If you are used to roundwounds and would like to switch to flats without losing too much brightness, this might be the string for you.
Good strings
These are nice strings. They're (obviously) smooth, play well, hold tuning well and have a nice warm, rounded thump to them.
I like them - and use them on both my short-scale basses.
