OK. Not sure they are worth it.

Not bad. And quite expensive. Gibson Masterbilt seem better to my ear. Harley Benton Valuestrings seem just as good too, and cost over five times less!

Decent sound

I really like the tone of the D'Addario Acoustic strings. This strings feel very well and have a brilliant, defined sound. The basses are very tight, so they fit very well to guitars which already have strong, dominant basses.

But unfortunately they don't last very long... they lose their sound very quick, even though they are made from bronze and phosphor. And: If you play them for an hour or two, your finger tips get green - seriously. So even though the sound is great, it isn't the best choice you could make.

I would rather recommend Elixir Nanowebs - they sound as good as the D'Addarios, but they last far longer, so they are in addition even cheaper!

Another good alternative are the D'Addario EJ series made of 80/20 bronze for a deeper, warmer tone.
