Daddario EJ16 5-stars Reviews
Crystal-clear tones & durability
While the D'Addario EJ16 Steel-String Set delivers an impressive blend of warm, bright, and well-rounded tones across various playing styles, and its phosphor bronze construction offers remarkable durability, some users might find these strings slightly stiff to the touch initially.
Furthermore, they may take a bit of time to settle and stay in tune, especially after a fresh installation.
My one and only...
I play with an agressive style - blues/rock mostly.
EJ16-s sound great, they are nice to play and they last long enough for me. For others, they last even longer :D
Cant go wrong with D'Addario :)
It worth it
Great strings with bright tone, and comfortable tension. So if you don`t know what strings do you want, this would be a great one
Great
Great sound with a great feel, love them on my dreadnought harley benton!
Perfect for jumbo
Perfect strings for the money. I mean it is Daddario, you cant go wrong with them.
I use these for jumbo acoustic, unplugged all the time. Strings sounds perfect for me. I hate the sound for a fuw days cause I generally dont like a sound of a new strings, too metallic for me. Later on they sound great, just perfect.
Works perfect for me, thats why i pick them.
great tone
these strings do last a good time and deliver a well balanced sound they can be almost piano like sounding when delicately fingerpicking and can really belt out when strummed great allrounders.
Quality strings
D'addario always hints for quality and this set of strings stays true to their roots.
I purchased it for my Harley Benton acoustic guitar and I'm playing in "D standard". For 3 months of using these strings I don't notice any darkening in their sound. They still sound fresh, of course with using string life enhancement products. They definitely last longer than the other brands of acoustic guitar strings I've used. Great price as well. They provide nice feel. The sound is round - not too bright and not too deep. Well, it is just a little bright.
I haven't found a single flaw. Recommending these on 100%!!
Sparkly sound
Really sparkly sound on my Maton guitar. Definitely prefer these strings over coated Elixir strings. The tone feels much more open. The durability has been great too.
It's Daddario
What more can I say, it's Daddario! Go and grab yours!
Good quality strings
My favourite string set for any acoustic guitar. They are easy to the fingers and they have a great tone which is bright and clear. I found them to be long lasting, not quite as long lasting as the coated ones, but you could enjoy this set of strings at it's best for at least 3 months if you play moderately. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a good quality string set at a reasonable price.
Good sound
Good-sounding strings for your acoustic, very decent for the price. Highly recommended!
Good value for money
For me daddario is the best value for money. I really like these !
I love these
Right.
I love these strings.
I'm a pro musician of 30 years, bass / double bass & guitar.
I mainly play bass / double bass, guitars are always a secondary instrument for me.
After trying these on a Lakewood Dreadnought I've switched over to these from Martins.
I find them to be have a richer sound and a smoother feel.
It has really pulled a few of my guitars together with regards to a more defined & solid sound.
No cons - good price, great product
I'm converted.
Excellent quality.
I like the warm and bright tone of these string. Reliable quality and these strings never break.
I love these strings.
I have been using D'Addario strings for quite long now. Both on my electric and acoustic guitar. They are perfect for me. The sound is just what I want and they last really long.
I have tried other strings before like Dunlop, Slinky and some more but I always come back to D'Addario. Love em!
Love that sound
I tried some alternatives, but I always come back to them.. their sound just brings back some nice memories.
Daddario - cant go wrong
