Daddario EJ16-3D 4-stars Reviews
Daddario Ej16-3D
Very versatile strings. Crisp resonant tone. Consistent quality through the sets.
cant go wrong with Daddario...
I've used quite a few different types of strings, but I still think as a 'standard' acoustic string, these are hard to beat. Personally I prefer them to the Martins.
Great all round string
Lovely warm tones, with great longevity make these my regular strings now.
Good value
Definitely good value. I use this strings mainly for strumming but I'm not very confortable with the sound lately. I remember the sound less bright a few years ago. Now in the process of trying other brands.
Pros: price/quality
Cons: it seems something changed in the materials that changed the tone.
I recommend this product for a normal use in practise or weekly gigs, better find a different sound for recordings or important gigs.
Classics
I play majorly e-guitar, but my acoustic is also equipped with daddario's as on my electrics. Great brand, great strings.
Good Strings, Worth Buying.
These strings work well with my Baby Taylor guitar. They are the perfect width for it. I found that the average 54 gauge strings were too thick and began to damage the saddle of my guitar. The sound from the strings are crisp and offer tone and clarity. I found they rusted very quickly though, even more quickly than Martin M140's! This was disappointing for me. I still would recommend these to anyone looking for inexpensive strings of good quality. Especially to owners of Baby sized guitars. I'm happy with these strings, they are the best option for Baby guitars in my opinion.
Very good chords
D'addario is a quality brand when it comes to chords. Definitely these chords worth every penny. A good product.
