Daddario EJ16-3D 5-stars Reviews
Great tone
I play an average-quality acoustic guitar but each time I change strings (and I do not do it too often) the change in tone is very refreshing. It doesn't take a long time to get these strings in tune and they tend to remain fresh for a reasonable amount of time
Nice Strings, good prise!
30 years now I play 012 strings on my accoustic guitar... Daddario EJ 16 are the best strings for my style of music (Folk, Country, bluegrass & Blues). Warm sound, crystal clear!
What's good enough for the BOSS is good enough for me.
Pack of 3 were air wrapped in individual sets. I like them, and they have a great rounded sound.
Essential
My go to strings for my acoustic guitars. Nice bright clean tone, great longevity
Good overall and nice price
I dont know if i get used to use this brand or they are actually good. But I believe strings are good enough. Packaging is neat and informative as well.
Nice strings
Nice strings. I bought them for a Yamaha fs820nt. Really like the sound
Warm and crisp
These strings sound great on my Seagull. They feel great to play and have a warm and crisp sound.
Great strings
Love these strings, they really open up the guitar and make it sing!
Great feel on the fingers too, would be dope if they squeaked less though
Superb in C - standard
Love these strings when down tuned to C standard on my Harley Benton CLA-15VS! Really easy to bend and the low strings give out that. … dunno , slight overdriven and chewy sound when I dig into them and the high strings have such lovely highs without being harsh. Well balanced and sound great. Getting these again for sure. Minimum finger noise too.
What can I say, these strings are one of my favorites. Feel great, love the relaxed feel and they sound great. To me one of the best value on strings.
Great Sounding strings at a savage price
Advised to try Phosphor Bronze strings by a recording engineer constantly working with acoustic acts. Brilliant advice the strings perfect for solo or rhythm acoustic playing. They just sit nicely in the mix
Workhorse Acoustic Guitar Strings
These strings have essentially been the backbone of the acoustic sound in my band for over 3 years. We have burned through dozens and dozens of these sets over time, but we always come back to them.
Playing in a band that has had 85 shows a year in the past, we had to change a lot of strings. These strings have had the most consistent and predictable sound quality out of what we've tried, and they also come at a fair price. At any given time, I've got a 3 pack of these in the gig bag ready to go.
Not overly bright, but also not to dull/thuddy, these strings are on probably more acoustic guitars than you can count. I personally have no major complaints, but the lifespan on these strings certainly isn't long, especially if you don't know how to take care of strings. On the road, we were changing these out maybe once every 3-5 shows (typically 1+hour sets with LOTS of sweat and hand-oil) and in the studio maybe once a month when played regularly.
TL/DR: These strings are a workhorse set that consistently deliver at an affordable price point.
Good quality,good sound.
Good combination of sound quality and long life...well balanced set with good projection and clarity.
Strings
Very bright and warm .Excellent value.
only negative the time of use
Very reliable
My go to acoustic guitar strings. Warm and long lasting.
Very good
I've been known to buy cheap (and sometimes nasty) electric guitar strings, but I never skimp on acoustic strings. That said, these weren't/aren't the most expensive strings money can buy. What they are, are really good sounding, reliable guitar strings. Which for my money, makes them great value.
I'd actually had thes a while, before I started using them, and they didn't seem to have suffered from the lengthy storage time..
Great Strings
These strings sound great. Nothing negative to say at all.
Great quality and reliability
I've been using these strings on all my acoustic guitars for over 20 years. They sound great, feel great, and hardly ever break. I don't use any other string on tour.
Price-wise they are affordable, and I consider them a bargain with the quality and reliability they possess.
Great strings
I use these all the time and will probably always use D'Addario.
