Daddario EXL110-3D 5-stars Reviews
The best strings ever used
These are the best strings I ever used. Been using them for years now. I had changed to other brands but always returned back to d'addario. Their tone is bright and clear and slide very well on a non locking nut with a tremolo bridge, keeping in tune.
Super versatile strings
I have been using this string for very long time, I particularly found them very appropriate for any music style, I am more jazz blues type. The tension is perfect i use it in a 25 '' 1/2 scale and it is great!
Hits the performance/price spot.
I've used various strings from various brands, from cheaper Harley Bentons strings, Fenders, Ernie ball, and even NYXL sets, these are (and other gauge XL sets) are the one I kept getting back to.
Pros:
Long lasting
Great out of the box feel
Allrounder tone (not as mid-focused as NYXL)
Great price for the performance.
Cons:
So far (2 years of using these XL series) none
Good value
Just changed to Daddario from another well known brand and I'm very glad I did. Not too bright and they last noticeably longer.
Good Strings
Exactly what you expect from a set of strings.
Perfect for Gretsch Streamliner
I am using these strings with a Gretsch streamliner with a bigsby tremolo. I have used a lot of string sets from other companies but I have stuck with these. They are good with tuning(I am playing with alternative tuning and they never detune) even with the bigsby tremolo after the first week the are steady on the tone. The pack of 3 is in good price, and if you are not changing string too frequently the pack may last for 9 months.
Best String Set
Very Good Strings... the good quality makes them last. very strong!
great strings
I am very happy with these strings, not the first time that i buy them. Cannot tell any negative points, they are lasting for a really long time, Daddario is a top notch brand anyways, always quality products! never had a broken string, however, I play heavy metal. I can definately recommend to anybody who is looking for a nice set of strings. Price/value ratio topper!
Great middle of the road strings
Been using Daddario for a good while now, and from My experience their strings consistently meet my expectations whenever I'm in need of a change (which with these, is not very often). Sound nice and bright, last for weeks, sometimes even months of playing if you wipe down your strings regularly. As someone who likes a wee chug now and again, I've been able to tune down as far as drop C, with hardly any buzz or adjustment to my action.
Recommended!
Bang for my buck
Always reliable, best strings imo. Will buy again and again
Good strings
Good feel and sound.
Best strings
I use d'addario for almost 10 years now and never been dissapointed.I use .10's and .9's in my guitars.
The strings are well made, nice feel, not a really light feel, but i like them in my american stratocaster. They last long enough for nickel wound strings.I have to say that i have tried Ernie Ball,GHS,Elixir,Dunlop and i like the D'addario better.
Well made and well priced,an excellent choice!
my favourite strings
Thanks to d'addario I still love to come back to my brand of strings since I was a teenager. Great strings, lovely bright and decent sound. Long lasting. Highly recommended. I tried 9-42 but 10-46 is my choice and suits me perfect.
Perfect quality, cheap and reliable
Personally I'm using these strings at least last two years for almost all of my electric guitars. It's bright, reliable and durable - for this pricing category it's a best choice. 3-pack is cheap.
Pros: good packing, great sound, durable.
Cons: none.
Good choice.
Best quality with even better price
For me there is no better strings...
For starters, they sound better to my ears than any others, and I've tried the more expensive brands.
They feel nice on my fingers and do not falter under abuse (tremolo, heavy bending, sweep picking, etc).
The only ones I would say are comparable to these strings are the Ernie Ball Slinky 10-46, but not only are they more expensive but you also cannot find them in packs of 3, 5, 10... which makes them always more expensive than D'Addario.
Great pack!
There's nothing to add really regarding the D'addario strings that most people won't know.
Their reliable I really like the tone and the feel. Most importantly this is a great deal. I don't wanna stock tons of strings at my house but I like having spares. Bought this and can't wait for the day I get to restring! And in case something goes wrong and a string breaks I always have a back-up.
I recommend this pack. It's great
D'Addario Classic!
D'Addario strings as you'd expect, great quality as always in a great value 3 in 1 package. Recommended!
Classics
At this prince range it's the only string I use.
Great sound, long lasting, not a bad thing to say about them.
String classics
D'Addario is always a good buy
Very good strings, great sounding, and they last a lot.
Excellent quality strings at a great price
D'Addario strings for electric guitar are a no-brainer for me. They consistently deliver good clean tone and have a high quality. I hardly ever have a string break, and the strings themselves feel good to play. I mostly buy the 10 gauge sets in the 3 packs (occasionally the 10 pack), and I use them on all of my guitars. I have used many other brand of string but after using these I am happy I found the brand for me mainly due to the high consistency between each set. You get what you expect every time with no faults or surprises.
