Daddario EXL110-3D 5-stars Reviews
Good quality strings
Good quality strings for electric guitar. Good lifespan and quality in general, nice tone with my telecaster and the gauge is very suitable for any standard scale fender guitar. 3 pack is handy to have too!
Bright & Brilliant Strings
As a 25 year veteran guitarist I've played almost every brand Electric Guitar Strings out there. I have in the past few years become a dedicated fan of D'addario Nickel-Plated Strings. Only recently moving to playing heavier genres of music I was compelled to switch gauges from 09s to 10s to have a little more girth under my fingers. The same brightness and brilliant presence that the XL offer was still there. Playing a heavier gauge worried me that the extra stress and tension may give way to string breakage, but so far so good. The 3 pack is good value and an essential backup in case of emergency.
Very Happy
D'addario strings are simply great, i use them on all my guitars in a variety of guages and never had any problems. The sound and feel great, reviving any old guitar. Do yourself a favour and get some!
Great strings at a great price
I have been using Daddario XL strings for about 5 years now. I'm no string expert by any means, but I know what I like, and I like these strings.
Daddarios are color coded, so they are easy to change. They are pretty durable and don't snap easily. Stings sound great and feel good on the fingers. And let's not forget that these strings cost less than most other strings.
I have nothing bad to say about Daddarios.
You really can't go wrong with Daddario strings. Bright sound but not too bright. The most important thing for me is that these strings are quite long lasting. I am a bit lazy and don't change my strings so often so that is important. Good value in a set of 3.
No 1
I use these on Les Pauls, SGs, 335s, Telecasters, etc. 10s work well for me on guitars with a fixed bridge (I prefer 11s for vibratos). D'Addario strings stay bright for a long time and are very break-resistant. Rich, clear tone with even intonation all over the fingerboard. Try them!
I really like these strings
They are my choice of string tone wise and durability
Best strings available
My guitar came with the EXL110 and I decided to buy them again. The sound is very clear and brilliant and the strings give the sound a lot more sustain. The strings aren't as slippy as other strings in this prize category. Also the chance to buy 3 sets of the Daddarios is very good thing, because you can save a lot of money if you need to change the strings often.
Daddario EXL110-3D Triple PAck
The Daddario EXL110BT strings are, in my opinion, quite perfect.
I use the strings on most of my guitars and they always sound great.
The feeling is top, and they are long lasting, i change every 8 weeks on my Les Paul wich i play usally 3 hours per day, and every 9 weeks on the Strat.
Also interesting is the fact, that they do not break as fast as erni balls i use on some of my guitars.
The only thing i don`t like on them, is the fact, that they habe the coloured ball ends. On Strats i do not care about that, but on my Les Pauls it looks just not perfect.^^
So all in this strings are great! And i will buy them constantly in the future.
this package with three sets of strings, is a great alternative to the single packs, even if you do not change strings often, because the price is lower. Also you always have another strings if you brake on on the guitar.
Outstanding
What to say, Daddario is outstanding in every way. Great sound and feel, combined with a superb quality. I wish they would cut down one of the packages to save the environment a bit more, but a guess its also because of protecting the strings to a maximum. Apart from that, 5 stars.
My favourite. At last.
The D'addarios have become my favourite set of strings.
Not only this gauge, but D'addario strings in general.
I finally ended up where I started at. ALternatives like Ernie Balls Regular Slinky did not last as long and their brilliant tone was gone after only four weeks of moderately intense playing. Elixir with nanoweb coating were way too slippery and costly (however with great endurance).
Having also tried the .009, the .010's and thicker gauges are really made for Blues, Rock and heavier stuff.
The fresh and bright tone lasts long, the packaging is solid and the coloured ball-ends simplify string changes.
I'm glad to say I've found my strings.
Excellent quality and sound, they don't eat up your frets and last ages
I have used/tried many brands over the years: Ernie Ball, Dean Markley, Rotosound, Fender etc. but I have always returned to these! They last a long time, they feel smooth, they sound clear -but not overtly bright, they are always consistent (I've never had a bad string yet), they don't wear out your frets quickly, yet they are also some of the cheapest strings available! Their packaging makes good sense too, not only because it is environmentally safer, but because the strings don't rust in their packets and bulk sets take up much less space and are cheaper too. Highly recommended.
Great strings!
I think these strings feel and sound great! I prefer them because they are a bit cheaper than the strings from Ernie Ball. I don't think there is a big difference between D'Addario and Ernie Ball.
a good quality
Daddario EXL110-3D are good quality standard strings.
You can't do wrong if you buy this strings.
I use them on Stratocaster and Telecaster. For me is the sound of this strings very good, from classic rock over blues, until punkrock
Still my favorit strings!
I use these strings for on my Les Pauls because they are very brilliant, but not to bright sounding.
that´s what i love! =)
I change them every 5/6 weeks, in comparison to the pure nickel strings i play on strats and tellies, thats a long time^^
D'Addario strings are the best!
I love D'Addario strings. Their sound is very brilliant and well-balanced, never harsh and always with enough bass frequencies. In addition to that I really like the feel of them and, of course, the prize is very low for a high quality product.
Ok, the strings are destroyed after a gig of four hours, but which kind of string wouldn't be? On all of my electric guitars I use D'Addario, because they are simply better than every other strings I have tested yet.
First choice for Tremolo-guitars
I use them with my Tremolo-based PRS-Guitars. It seems that the trem works perfect with these Strings, just the right amount of brilliance and strength to keep it flowing.
Great electric guitar strings
I have tried lots of differend electric guitar strings, but I always return to Daddario EXL. The have a pretty long lifetime, a great feel and perfect sound. This 3-pack one is really perfect and cheep as well, so it a no brainer for me. Just great strings.
Great strings
These strings is what I almost always use (if available). If played moderately they might last years but I usually change strings more often to get that "new strings tone". I play all kinds of music ranging from rockabilly to punk and these sound and feels just right for me.
Yes!
Ever since I got turned on to Daddario earlier this year I've been so much happier with my playing. These strings are made extremely well and sound brilliant. I feel they really help me fulfill the sound I'm going for.
