Daddario PW-CT-12 Micro Headstock Tuner 5-stars Reviews
Handy little thing
Small, accurate and works like a charm on bass. Everything i needed. The size and way you mount it makes it almost invisible as well.
By far the best tuner
In the past i have been using some large tuners on my guitars and i was always driven off by the looks. However, with this one i tend to forget that there is something on the headstock of my guitar. Its small and passes unnoticed, but not too small for you to be able to work and tune your guitar properly, as you should.
Great quality tuner that i highly recommend!!!
Super tuner
Small, practice, guitar still looking nice :)
really good product
ive had this for a few weeks and its brilliant. the fact you can change the orientation helps a lot, its really accurate and its easy an straight forward to use. the only down side is that on some guitar head stocks, like a Les Paul for example, you have a hard time positioning it ti be able to see the screen.
Excellent tuner on the road
I restring my guitar before every gig, usually in a venue while other bands are soundchecking or playing. I bought this tuner so I could get my re strings done no matter where I end up doing it every day. Its really accurate and great with low tunings. We play drop C and sometimes the low string goes down to A. Never an issue getting a reading with it. Recently picked up a second one for back-up.
Best headstock tuner I've used.
Works perfectly. It's also quite small and inconspicious which is nice. I forget its even on there. Great product!
Great tuner
Very small profile tuner easy to use with great features.
Convenient, tiny, sturdy
A perfect tuner even if you play at crowded gigs with a lot of noise. The clip and the head can be easily adjusted on the part of your instrument you want the tuner to be hung. Calibration setting works just fine.
The only negative feedback I would give about this tuner is that for the bass guitar it takes some time to see the minor tuning changes on its screen. You have to hold the string and hit it once again to see what actually happened.
From price/quality perspective, this is a very good tuner !
Best tuner so far
I'm putting those tuners on all the instruments I regularly use - electric bass, jazz guitar, classical guitar, and a cavaquinho. It's easy to see, fast, accurate, and discrete.
The only issue I had with it: On electric bass, it does not track the low E string well. So I need to tune the A string, and then use harmonics to tune the E string.
Easy to use and understand, small, long lasting battery... perfect product for me.
I had already bought the previous model, but you can never have too many with 2 tuners... so I bought the same one :-)
The best
Small, discrete, accurate, and just excellent. It's now standard equipment on my stringed instruments. Can be a bit tricky to use for basses though; would have wanted a little better frequency response there.
Very small tuner not visible from far.
Works without space
excellent value for money
use it every day excellent value for money
Size doesn't matter
This tuner is super small and almost invisible when fixed on the backside of the headstock.
I used it with both a 4-string and a 5-string bass and it works great for both, even at low frequencies of a B string. It does however takes a few moments longer to get a good reading when tuning the low B string.
A a great low profile tuner
Easily fits on all acoustic and electric guitars.
You can rotate the screen very quickly if needed.
The build quality is very good, it can easily take a beating.
The battery lasts long, I didn't need to replace it yet. With previous tuners I had this was a big problem. The battery lasted for 5 day after the purchase...
If you are looking for a great low profile tuner I would definitely recommend.
Nice little tunner
Tunner is even smaller then expected, you just clip it in the headstock and forget it is even there. Tunning seems pretty accurate. It's got a color screen and can be seen even in the dark. It has an awesome feature that allows you to rotate the information of the screen, so you can install it in any position on the guitar and still have the information facing you. Highly recommended!
Love the invisibility of the tuner. have one in each guitar.
All you ever need.
Perfect tuner with a very low profile look. Does what it's supposed to do and not killing the look of your guitar :)
Discreet headstock tuner
This is a great little tuner, taking up very little space when mounted on the back of a headstock, with only a small part visible from the front. It's just like any other clip-on tuner as far as accurracy goes - it's adequate and the display is clear and easy to read. It can be flipped upside down depending on where you have it located.
I've tried it on various acoustic and electric guitars, and there is one small issue - when clipped to a really thin headstock (eg. a Telecaster), the tuner's clip will not adjust small enough for a good fit. I've worked around this by attaching the rubber foot from a pedal on the tuner mount point which works well.
Generally good little tuner...however...
Only bad thing that I could point out on this product is the fact that the reader on this tuner is quiet weak feature as for example if you in a gig situation and you depend on it takes ages for tuner to settle especially if you hitting your bass strings a bit harder with pleck it gets confused or if the string goes out half step down for instance its start flashing red or green you have to give it extra time to adjust and the hopefully you might be able to get it right which sometimes in certain situations there is not much break in between the songs you better stick to you foot tuner Tc, Mooer or Boss will be less annoying...great product for home use but that's just my opinion :)
