Love these little guys

I have several of these that I just keep on my instruments headstock. No complaints. Only suggestion would be to offer an even simpler version with just 1 or 2 buttons (on/off, and orientation), for those of use that don't need anything else. When gigging, it's nice to have something that just works and can't be accidentaly misconfigured.

Small Efficient and Amazing

It is really small and, if seen from a distance, you can barely see it when set behind the headstock (the best way to use it).

Works really well!

Pros:

- Amazingly easy setting the "ground" A tone (from 410 up to 480 hertz)

- Set the viewing upside-down (useful in various occasions)

- Built-in visual metronome ranging from 20 up to 270 bpm. Awesome feature for gigs where you should get a tempo before starting to play.

- Easy to migrate from tuner to metronome, just press the M button to have the visual metronome and then hold the button to get back to the tuner.

Couldn't find any cons.

Good, good, good...

This tiny little tuner has a great response time and works well even in noisy situations. One added bonus is that unlike other clip-on tuners this one isn't a complete eyesore.

Surprisingly small, highly capable

This little tuner is great. I was surprised by how small it is and it tucks away nicely under my headstock. The display is super easy to read and it has a handy little feature that flips the orientation of the screen depending on whether I've got it mounted above or below the headstock. As an added bonus, there's a metronome feature. I don't use it, but maybe it's useful to some.

Two little issues, however... The display 'flashes' when not used for a few seconds. I don't know what that means or how to turn that 'feature' off. Also, changing the battery is not difficult once you figure out how, but it's not immediately obvious how to do so.

It's a great little gadget and I use it all the time.

Very good tuner!

It does the job, it is very small and invisible in the back of the head stock but allways in your site. The metronome is useful, if you need it and the fact that it turns green when you find the note is very helpful.

Really useful tuner

I first came across this tuner when I attended a guitar clinic in September run by Ron 'Bumblefoot' Thal of Guns 'n' Roses fame.

He had one attached to his Vigier twin-neck signature guitar and used it most effectively.

When I got home, I researched it on the web to find that it had a great reputation and was very good value.

I bought one almost immediately. I stays on my strat-style guitar all the time (even when it's in the case) and works very well. I particularly like the fact that it it is sensitive and responsive and - unlike other clip-on tuners - handles the low E-string with finesse!

And I don't need to get a tuner out when I'm practising. I'm also planning a stripped down pedal-board - without a tuner!

It's not as cheap as some other similar devices, but I think it's worth it. Simple compact tuner that will settle on the headstock of your guitar from first day and until death do you part)

Daddario Micro Tuner

WOW!!!!!!!! This thing is absolutely amazing. I have still been using my old needle point tuner since the 70s - this thing blows me away! So small, so precise, and EASY TO READ even for old eyes! Could not be happier with it. I might have to buy a few more to just leave on my favorite guitars..

Great, easy to use

I wanted a tuner & this little thing caught my eye. All the reviews i read certainly praised it so i thought i would give it a go. Wow great piece of gear. It's small...no... tiny! I originally bought it for my Mandolin & it fits really well. I wanted something that worked well, easy to use & was discrete. Yup this is it all right. The display is nice & clear. The tuning bars turn orange as you approach or leave perfect pitch. When you are bang on everything is green with 1 bar either side of the note you are locked to.

One really great feature is the rotate button. Because the screen can be rotated to allow you to mount it virtually anywhere this stops the note displayed & the sharp / flat direction from becoming screwed up. So cool.

I've used it on my Squire TELE. Now i will point out the mounting is a little tricky as there isn't a huge amount of space available. The tuner mounts perfectly & responds without issue but it took me a while to decide best how angle it so i could read the display. I guess this is the trade off for its tiny size. I'd certainly buy another one or two though, as others have said, to just leave them on the instrument! Cool.

Small but packs a punch

Such a handy little tuner you wouldn't even notice it was on the guitar but it's so accurate and useful it's hard to believe , only minor thing is it's so small if you don't leave it on the guitair it is actually quite easy to lose but for the price I don't think there is a better tuner available

How did I ever live without the Micro? IMHO it tunes more accurately than the Polytune Nano and as good as the TU-2/3. I have bought three already. The very small size means I will probably break the collar at some point but wow - what a unit!

The Invisible Touch!

This tuner is the best - truly invisible, easy to handle, and multifunctional! Great buy! You'll never make a mistake with that one!

Perfect small mini headstock tuner!!!

This is the ultimate headstock tuner!

Small in size but incredibly fast!!

Couldn't ask for better!

Compared to a snark tuner- works faster- is smaller (drawers less attention to it) and had a metronome!!

Good tuner

Very accurate tuner, haven't tried down tuning my guitar very far (only to Drop C) and it works very well, very hard to see the tuner from the audiences point of view and will fit on pretty much every headstock I have: Les Paul/Telecaster/Ibanez RG/Charvel Desolation.

One downside is the screen isn't as bright as it could be, if you were playing outside on a bright day you might have a bit of trouble seeing it. Anything other than that is fine.

Undercover

Always hated tuners than extend over the headstock, so this is the answer. Small, easily installed (on a PRS guitar takes a while to find the right position) and does the job well. Minor complaint, the clip holding the tuner in place also houses a tension adjuster which is easily pressed when installing it.

The screen is bright, it can be flipped, depending on its position on the headstock and it has a visual metronome, which personally I do not use, but comes handy sometimes.

I use one for every separate guitar I have, no scratches on wood, and it's equally good for electric or acoustic instruments.

Absolutly FIRST CLASS !!

I tried to find a small and correct tuner for my acoustic guitar. This on is perfect. Very lightweight. Red, Yellow and Green LED´´s will show you also in dark situations the right tunings. Absolutly perfect !

Must have

These are a must have for any acoustic guitars or other guitars that aren't plugged into tuner pedals. It's small, and that's part of how great this product is, works well and is definitely worth what you pay for it!

You got to love it!

I bought this pretty, little tool out of pure curiosity and I don't regret it.

+The tuner is very small and does hardly affect the beauty of your guitars headstock.

+It is accurate.

+The display is rotatable und can also be turned by 180° so you can read it in every thinkable position.

The first really working...

...piezo headstock tuner I had in my hands.

Sometimes it have got some problems on the low E string, so I would not reccomend it for a Bass, but on the guitar it is working really good. It is tiny, but big enough to read the display perfect. Also the colors are a good idea. You will let it stay on your guitar the whole time and with one short press you can see if it is still in tune. The only disadvantage is, that you want one for every guitar.

I'm not using the metronome function because a optical metronem is useless for me, but another realy great feature is, that you can turn the display upside down, so it will really fit any guitars that have a headstock.
