One used to sonorize private parties

I bought one in order to bring sound at small parties at my place or at friend's houses. Got it for 18 months now. Indoor as outdoor, it's always enough. We are never more than 30 people though. Takes 5 minutes to mount/unmount it and feels durable. Only negative points : Bass sounds makes the "filter" in front of the bass speaker vibrates on the black grill protection, and that makes a "bvbvbrbvbrbvb" noise. Not that audible as the sound is already pretty loud when it happens.

ES 602 Side fill

We use the ES 602 as a Side fill setup in our band 4 piece 2 guits 3 vox elec drums and bass, as long as you take the low lows (70 Hz and below) out of it it does the job fine

Great Speakers For This Price Range

I use four of these speakers on each corner of my rehearsal/recording studio in the main room.

They deliver all the clarity and power for all sorts of bands without having to use any other monitors. The bass is punchy and the mids/highs are clear. The anti-feedback mode works well with many mics in the room.

The build quality is solid; assembling and setting up the system is very easy.

Well, as a con, it doesn't have Bluetooth connection which is a nice bonus to have in a rehearsal studio, so I had buy a Logitech Bluetooth adapter that goes into mixer and delivers the sound to the ES602's.

I highly recommend ES602's to those who are after a good sound at a low budget.

Excellent Sound

First I bought one, then another. They have clean powerful lows and sweet highs. For a small hall, loud coffee shop or restaurant, the power is more than sufficient. It's easy to transport them and to set them up. They look sleek with clean lines and have a small footprint.

Value for money

I'm an event dj, and i use a pair of ES602 for 2 years.

I also do rentals. This system has surprised everyone, including professional, djs for the power, the kick and clear sound.

When i mention the price then the reaction is "i want too".

Very good handling, the presets very usefull, i also give them a test to a karaoke night, very easily covers a small event.

I recommended 100%, my feature goal is to buy one more pair for larger venues, mainly for Hotels, where the sound must be at certain margins.

Totally satisfied.

a lot for the money

these compact column sets are really nice for small parties or presentations etc. they do not have a huge musical punch but for the money the do deliver a nice crisp sound and they are so easy to handle!

Compact and Effective

I got this unit for acoustic gigs, so I was looking for clarity and crisp sound with portability. It does the job quite well and with adequate power too. It's simple to set up and operate too.

It's not that light to carry and has only one input. No effects or EQ, so it's quite basic. Sound is quite good anyway.

Great small system

I have just brought a pair to test and was very impressed. The aim is to use them as a dry hire PA for wedding and parties.

The system is easy to use and quick to set up. The tops are Chrystal clear and although there isn't much bass, it is great for small rooms.

On the pack it has both XLR and Jack connections, and a separate Aux input which is great as my clients can plug an I pod and microphone straight into the back.

These speakers have already had lots of good and positive feedback from my clients and would be looking to buy some more in the new financial year.

Nice little system

Bought this for doing gigs in smaller venues and i have to say it has done me really well. It has earned its money back well and truly as I use it for about 70% of my gigs !! It handles acoustic guitar and vocals well and can also deal with tracks. Easy to setup you can put it in a small car. I have used it in some medium( a large village hall where it was very good) and larger venues (when i am performing a background music role) too. Never get near using it on full volume !! I would recommend it to any singer-guitarist or duo and perhaps small groups playing a quieter style of music in a smaller venue. very affordable and decent.

very good bargain

Small, light and powerful. Ideal for my small gigs and acoustic performances. in essence a very good PA set. The only drawback is the price of both soft cases, which are necessary for a safe transport, too expensive compared to the set reduced price.

Great portable PA

I bought this to use for an acoustic duo and also to DJ. Sound quality is very good with clear bass. I use this with a small format mixer and find I don't need to do very much with the mixer EQ to get a good sound balance. The big advantage with this system is that I can carry everything I need in a wheeled suitcase and can get it on and off buses, trains and tubes without too much stress (something I haven't been able to do with any other portable PA system). Overall a very solid system that suits venues of up to about 150 people.

I am gobsmacked

These items are fantastic, I use four of these stacked in 2 columns, The sound can lack a little mid-range but that can be dialed out with a decent graphic. I have run a function band through these and also a reggae band, both were blown away by how good these sound. So glad i purchased 4 sets, one of my best purchases.

Unreliable

I've had many speakers, sound on these is ok the bass leaks and the tops don't project sound very far , in a small room they are excellent, but outdoors very weak. I might just be unlucky, but one broke on arrival and yesterday another quit and now just blows fuses. I gig 6 nights a week and need to be confident in my equipment but don't trust these speakers. I guess you get what you pay for. I'm going back to traditional boxes and base

Exceeded my expections

If your thinking of buying a compact system and are hovering over the BUY button then just click it, honestly you won't regret it!!

Now don't get wrong it's still a case of horse's for courses, if your (let's just say) a mobile Dj and you do many different venues of various sizes (again lets just say) upto 300 people with this being your only/main P.A, then obviously this system isn't for you and you may want to look at spending 4x the price of these for the FBT Vertus CS1000.

But if like me you have a residency or regularly do smaller venues then this system up to about 100 peopleis the mutts nuts.

I own Yamaha dxr 10's, 15's and subs and brought these as an alternative to the 10's

Last night I was in one of my regular venues a decent sized pub playing a massive variety of music from the 60's through to garage including reggae and rock too, these handled it immensely, infact I drove these harder and louder than I would usually do in that venue just to see what they had in them and still didn't see a red light lol although I did peak them with my mic (it'll take a couple of outings and some tweaking to get my mic how i like it to sound).

But even some of the regulars in there comment about how much nicer these sounded compare to my usual system (usually I use a pair of Yamaha dxr 10's with 30% more output and a higher spl, 131 compared 118 on these)

Yes there's many of these line array systems on the market now but I challenge anyone to find me a system that comes anywhere near the quality of this without at least doubling their budget

Bite the bullet, honestly you wont be disappointed
