Measurement Microphone

Works well with the DBX PA2 but be aware if used with other systems, the polarity is reversed, with that in mind it is almost a flat response 20Hz to 20Khz

The reference microphone for dbx DriveRacks

I bought this together with the dbx DriveRack PA2 to use the AutoEQ function and the built-in RTA of the PA2. I haven't used the microhpone in any other applications but for use with the PA2 it's exactly what I expect. The PA2 also has a separate setting for this particular microphone to flatten the measurement response even further, so it was the natural choice for best performance in the application used.

The included case feels cheap and is made of plastic but it has so much foam in it to protect the microphone that breaking the mic inside its case by normal gig handling will be very hard.

Essential for any DBX Driverack.

I use this with a DBX Driverack PA+ in a 3 way FOH PA system. Having the driverack run an Auto Level and Auto EQ really took the quality of the sound to the next level. Comparing the flat eq to the one generated using this microphone i can highly recommend this product to get the most out of your system.

Buy with Driverack!

Bought the driverack PA+ but forgot the mic. Now that I have it, set up is so simple. Also used for some recording and a remarkably flat mic when used on upright Piano!

Flat and relatively cheap.

When you need an RTA mic you want something that is truely flat. And durable.

This is both and DBX have been a company who continue to deliver robust and trusted products.

Case is bulky for what is needed, but it will protect your precious reference source.

Worth every penny.
